I nor do any other True Christians™, use 'religion as a means of control'. I follow the KJV Bible and obey secular law. I follow them both to the letter with no deviation. If deviation were allowed, the Bible and secular law would state something like "Follow this rule, if you want", which would make the rule or law ridiculous. If the speed limit is 65, it means you cannot exceed 65. It does not mean the speed limit is 65 unless there are no cops around, then you can go as fast as you want. Society has rules intended to keep man from acting like animals.

I don't understand why you are so against this. Nothing is going to happen, the separation between the church and government has been around for ages. No matter what you do, people will still play these games. No it really doesn't turn you into a Satanic Worshiper... Only a fool would believe something as demons rewarding you in a game and it would directly associate with real life. Games are just games. I still have yet to understand why people like you are against gays. It's a prefernce they have, just like you supporting a religion, and liking it.

Just like chances are, no matter how hard we try, there will still be sinners in the world. We Save who we can and toss the rest to feed Satan's lust. You stupid kids do not realize you are slowly being drawn in to sin. Satan does it to little mindless children wiht video games, and as a person ages, he adds alcohol, drugs and sex. Unless you repent and follow His word, you are going to burn in hell for all eternity. Let me explain.
You're dead. Instantly your soul begin falling towards the black abyss above Hell. The falling seems eternal as you gather speed and the heat begins to grow. Then you notice a red dot below you growing larger by the second, this is the Lake in the center of Hell. It is the brightest point in Hell therefore it is visible for a great distance. Keep in mind that the farther you fall, the further from Christ you are.
As you gain speed and the flames become apparent you may wonder how you can stop this from happening. The answer is simple. It's too late and you can't, you're doomed. Your soul is damned and it WILL happen. The temperature is now approaching the unbearable limit as your flesh begins to smoulder and ignite and you continue to build speed as you plummet toward the now visible boiling Lake of Fire. You can almost make out individual souls thrashing in the magma with your flaming eyesockets. Soon you will join them, your terror mounts as your screams become gargled with the stench of Hells evil smell. The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unless you are Saved™ by Jesus Christ and His Holy website and favorite church, Landover Baptist, there is no other way to avoid this.

Actually, first of all... The elves are beings of nature, whom where created by magic, they are not demonic at all, don't judge a book by it's cover.

Secondly, that image is not a portal to hell, it's a portal to the realms of oblivion, wich is not like hell at all. It does represent evil, suffering and damnation, but it is a planet, and the people there are aliens rather than demons, if you'd actually read the lore about the game then you'd know this.

Oblivion, wich you call hell is ruled by several rules, thus connecting it to demons within hinduism and not christianity, that means that this is not even your concearn.

You should really have done some research rather than just pretending you know the game, and it is nothing like Dungeons and Dragons, because it's two utterly different storylines, game engines and systems.

And in the game you take up as a role of a character meant to banish these evil beings from the face of Cyrodill and save the people from the evil Mehrunes Dagon, wich is not the devil, he is a six-armed demonic giant. Thus bringing us back to Hinduism again, and the nine divines, wich is the gods that the imperials, reguards, nords, elves and kajiit belive in is clearly more related to buddism than christianity.

...I have played this game for over five years, and like most people who play it, it is far from a sin... Or do you see anywhere in the bible where it says "Thau shalt not be playith thy games of thy elder scrolls: Oblivion".

And if you took a look at the previous games in the series, you'd see that most of these demonic relevants are taken out of hinduism... So right now you're representing the Hindu.

But okay, if you're gonna play that game of where you twist things around, then so will I:

First of you say that there is alcohol in that game, most of the alcohol is wine, Jesus drank wine during several occassions, this means that if you hate the game, you hate Jesus.

Second of all, the game is about vaquishing hell and sin from taking over human beings, this means that if you hate the game, you're a satanist.

Third of all, elves have pointy ears, yes. And we don't know how god looks like, meaning that he can have pointy ears aswell... If you hate the game, you hate god..

And the people who play this game are nerds, and they remain virgins untill they are about 35, they never drink, because they pass out only by smelling liquir, and they do not use violence... Because frankly... They can't. So if you hate the game, you hate purity, sobriety, forgivingness and non violence...

I believe that you are wrong and right.

Whenever I played this game, a dark atmosphere gradually overcame the house so I removed it after some indications from God that it was the cause. I'm not sure whether it was certain things I did in the game or the game itself.

However, I think that this game is not without its better influences.

Whenever you murder or steal, you gain good things physically, but the game torments your character gradually spiritually, and even tries to make you feel terrible mentally for these sorts of things.

This is an accurate representation of life as how we know it. Stealing gets you material wealth, but it destroys us spiritually and is often even with physical consequence.

It's somewhat of a test I find. Players with a weaker mind will succumb to the Dark brotherhood and the like (Which I myself am guilty of somewhat) and those with a stronger sense will keep on the right path.

The 9 divines are used as a variable. In the head of anyone who plays, they can replace the 9 divines with the God they believe in in their religion.

But players will need to be careful and discern between the right and wrong lessons.

No, they're not, they made this game so that it'll sell and they can make money. They had no intention of converting kids to Satanism. It is an "M-17" game anyway, not aimed at kids. The alcohol can be drunk, but your statistics are punished when you do this, so it is in no way promoted. You don't do quests for the Daedra, you're main goal is to kill them. The only Reason you travel through the Oblivion realm is to destroy it. There is next to no sexual content here. There is a mission where you are asked back to a woman's house for "A night you'll never forget", but when you get there and she asks you to take of your clothes, you only have the option to refuse and kill her. Actions like murdering innocents and stealing are very hard to do without being caught and punished. It is utter nonsense that you think it should be taken off the shelves.

The reasons he gave were just plain rubbish. How is using magic offensive to god? Only extremist christians (Like you lot) would find that midly offensive. As I have said already, the Daedra aren't your friends in the game, you have kill them. The reason you go through these Oblivion realms the original poster compared to hell is to destroy them. I must also add that this environment is quite scary. The whole place is tinted red, there are giant blooded talon like things sticking out of the ground, there is lava everywhere. The game in no way glorifies this hell like environments, quite the opposite. You are a human (or elf or creature resembling a human) fighting these demons to save the rest of the humans (or whatever). You must also rememer that this is a fantasy environment, which deliberately has inhuman creatures, but these are only to add to the atmosphere, not to offend your beliefs.
