It's just a game, no matter how much you don't like images of representations of inappropriate actions, you will never get rid of it.

That can be said for prostitution and drugs as well. That some forms of evil are hard to get rid of is not a reason to allow them.

P.S. : if you are so against guns and violence and stuff, you should be going out of your way to ban real guns, not computer animated ones.

One of my grandkids once accidentally shot himself in his foot. I assure you he will never ever again use a gun without respecting it. The best way how to learn how to handle a gun is with a real one. Not a game one where you can kill dozens of people without consequences. You say you play these games. Did you never notice that after playing them for a few hours your mindset changes? That killing suddenly doesn't seem so bad anymore?

To get back to the original point which all you self-righteous failures keep forgetting about, Fallout 3 and Oblivion neither teach kids to kill OR make them WANT to kill anyone.
I played them. Because I know there aren't any repercussions for playing a VIDEO GAME. They were damn good games, too.
Coincidentally, nowhere in the game(s) are you forced to kill innocent people. Is it an option? Yes. Is it required to finish? No.
Where, exactly, do these games teach you to murder, hire prostitutes, OR do drugs?

So we have two facts:

1. You came in here with a lot of negativity, calling us obscene names and insulting True Christians in every post.

2. You state that you played the particular game that we think encourages children to be negative, call people obscene names and insult Christians.

So what do you think the logical conclusion is here? If anything, you make the case, through example, that this game is indeed dangerous.

It is a violent game, not even the creators of the game deny that, only you do.

Where did I deny that? I never said it wasn't a violent game. It even says so on the Content Rating on the back of the box.
I do, however, deny the fact that it teaches children (or anyone, really) that they should kill people.
I'll ask again: Where, exactly, do these games teach you to murder, hire prostitutes, OR do drugs?

The reason why I think the church as a group is so afraid and willing to condemn video games is because you as a whole view is as a threat and are afraid of change. If this is too hard for you people to fathom consider the history of the theater. When writers starting writing plays they eventually started to take on more controversial subjects such as murder, rape, robbery, and sexuality. The Roman Catholic church at the time saw this as a threat because it portrayed sinning. So the clever bastards that they are starting saying it was the devils work, and that playwrights and actors were agents of the devil. Looking back on that now we know that's just plain silly, we all know now that Shakespeare wasn't an agent of the devil. If you all are as intelligent as I hope you are you can see the parallelism between the condemnation of theater and the condemnation of video games by the church.

Lastly before you go off and say that I'm a heathen and "unsaved trash" I want you to know something. I grew up Christian and I know all your stories and gobbledygook so don't try to take some random bible passage, which you don't fully understand, out of context and use it against me. If you want to reply to me actually address the argument at hand instead of ad hominem.

I'm claiming that it does not require you to murder (see also: the killing of an innocent person) and that it also does not TEACH you to murder people. I, in fact, played the game without killing anyone that did not attack me first. Which, last time I checked, is self-defense: both legal and not at all morally objectionable by any means.
