      That just means the justice system is doing a better job of catching and convicting people after the fact they have committed a crime while overall crime rates are dropping therefore your argument is invalid. By the way doesn't the bible teach you not to assume things about people 1: I'm not a kid. 2: Not everyone that comes out of prison magically becomes gay. Also I'm happy that you addressed at least a fraction of my argument which is more than I could say about most people such as yourself.

              Words are just sounds represented by symbols that people choose to give meaning to. In the UK it just means a novice or foolish person I don't see how its offensive to anybody. It's just like how fag is another term for a cigarette.

                          I just don't want you taking things you don't fully understand out of context is all, which you still managed to do, also you just mindlessly quoted without trying to back up or explain your quote. By the way that wasn't quoting that was paraphrasing I was using that to provide context to my argument. I laugh at you quoting Acts 13:10 that's some poorly disguised attempt at name calling along the same lines as calling someone a poopoo head.

                              Ah, but most criminals are repeat offenders or career criminals. So putting 1 criminal behind bars means you can prevent perhaps 50 crimes from ever taking place.

                              So this is a much stronger theory for explaining why crime rates are dropping than the advent of video games: take away the cause (bad people) and you reduce the number of bad events from happening.

                              The problem, however, is that when an entire generation is potentially corrupted into being bad people, you can no longer use prison as a solution. That is the horror scenario we are trying to prevent.
