First, how am I falsely teaching? Can you show me a part of the Bible that I am ignoring or twisting? Book/chapter/verse please.

Second, you are a hypocrite by publicly accusing me of not following the Bible when you yourself do not do so. I recommend you read Matthew 7:1-5 rather closely, since Jesus is addressing people just like you. The reason why I say you are not following the Bible? Because if you were Christian, you would not be listening to Devil metal like The Greendays. You would keep yourself separate from it.

Does the Bible say anything else like avoiding the appearance of evil, by our words will we be judged, not dressing like women, getting tattoos or a long list of things you aren't supposed to do to?

1) theyre not metal.. not even close!
2) they are anything but new.. if you knew anything about them then you would know that they have been performing in clubs before they were on a record label since 1986..

Hey :-). I agree that Greenday definitely is as Anti-American and Anti-Religion as they come. But I would like to make a few corrections...

1. They are definitely not new, haha! The band was created in 1987--so I don't think they are the reason why kids are anti-social NOW (anyway.)

2. They aren't metal either.... they are "punk." But that is besides the point though.

I can't stand the band because of the messages it sends out to everyone. But, they aren't the only problem. I'm getting married in six months to the greatest man in the world (can't wait!) And one thing we agree on is on how we will raise a family if we decide to have one. No television or computers in the kids room. That's what makes an anti-social teenager... Too busy alone on the internet or watching tv. It's been like that for a long time though. At any rate, it's the parents responsibility and fault for how their kid behaves....not a punk band. There's far worse out there and far more to concentrate on. Haha, not a group of 60 year olds in eyeliner.

i nvr once said that i hate Jesus.. i live in a house that believes in God and Jesus and i went to church half my life by choice.. however i no longer go to church by choice too.. i choose not to believe in a lot of the who-ha that is written in the bible.. and im condimed to hell for that then so be it but im not going to sit here and BS about what i do and dont believe in..

Green Day is much more than a band; theyre my life.. you choose to base your life around God and i choose to base mine off Green Day.. they do not overrule me in any sort of way. Religion is your security blanket (which is perfectly fine but thats not for everyone) and music is mine.. i turned to prayer all from october 18th thru probably mid february because someone i love dearly was fighting for their life but i found only a small amount of comfort in prayer! it only made the pain worse to be quite honest.. i cried my eyes out for weeks because of it.. Music was the only thing that could keep me from going insane and just losing it.. so yeah if i feel more for Green Day than God you now know why..

I have literally seen Green Day born in 1994, 1987 and now the early 1980's. I suppose next they will have been the opening act for the Buzzcocks in 1978.
