There seem to have been a few posts about how clothes &/or make-up are somehow a form of "self" expression.

The central theme here is what one does (not what one looks like). In any artistic community there is a wide variety of dress sense. From the sloppy joe to the exquisitely manicured. Weird beard or full body wax nobody takes any notice. Such personal choices are not any form of self expression. Perhaps in certain settings, a poetry reading or a private view, the poet or the potter may wear some striking couture but even then the clothes (lack of if it's nude poetry) or the warpaint are at best a vehicle for self expression and only in that particular context.

Or again in the case of writing a song. The notes are not expressive just because they're notes, they're expressive because of how they're used. Even once organised by the composer and written down they still don't express anything by themselves. Someone has to play them.
Yeah, sure another songwriter could look at the score and see whether it was a lullabye or some monstrous dub-step outrage.
If Rembrandt saw a camera he could probably predict a Picasso.
That's their job.

But a poet just standing there in some great faloomphing green hat isn't expressing anything. It's just a hat. People want The Poem.

Only EMO's bleat that wearing black nail polish is "self" expression but EMO's have no "self" to express. I had to attend a "goth" venue recently ALL EXACTLY THE SAME. Nary a "self" among them.

That's why it's called rehab.

First off its two words: Green Day

Second they are NOT metal (they consider themselves Punk but are too commercial now to be considered as such)

3rd: they are NOT new (they've been around since 89-90)

4th: they are called Green Day as a reference to them smoking pot back in the day (they're suppose to be "Straight Edge" nowadays I hear)

5th:They're only threatening you because you choose to believe they are threatening you

It amazes me the amount of Unsaved Trash like myself who instead of obtaining guidance and knowledge from the True Christians™ of this forum, they instead try to debate with them. I have read enough and respect enough to know that True Christians™ are never wrong and to debate them instead of listening to every word they say, you are only fanning the flames of hell that you will one day dive into.

Now as far as these "Greendays", I have never heard of them but they appear dangerous and I am now going to search mu children's quarters for any evidence of "Greendays" or any other inappropriate content. Thanks for the heads up Landover!
