Which I attribute to pure teenage revelry, euphoria at making it big and a general lack of common sense all combined.

Which is merely a form of self expression, of not caring what a stereotypical narrow minded society would think of you. To wear what you want to define you , and what you feel good wearing.

Effeminate is a very ambiguous term. It depends on what society defines as effeminate and what is not. If society long ago had deemed trousers as effeminate, you'd be wearing a skirt right now.


Green Day doesn't care about the norm of society. Anyone who wants to truly express themselves shouldn't. Unless it runs parallel to the norm of society anyways of course.

Eyeliner is makeup. Makeup is for women. How can you argue that eyeliner is not effeminate?

I'm beginning to think that the Green Days only started their band so they would have an excuse to have relations with each other.

The second part of your post makes no sense. How does forming a band ever become legitimate grounds for having relationships with each other? They could have easily done that without forming the band at all.

So what if I find it effeminate? I don't wear it. But those that do NOT find it so, they can wear it if they so choose to. I'm cool with it either way. They do not enforce their fashion sense on people. They insipire people to follow thier own sense of fashion.

Ok, this is how I see it:

The earlier poster said something about men not allowed to wear or apply anything that is effeminate. But if one does not consider a certain item to be effeminate, then even if every other human being does, its fine for them to wear or apply it.

At any rate, my entire argument was about Green Day not being satanic. To say they are not Christians in the way you wish to define would be 100% accurate. I would laugh and in fact argue against someone who said that Green Day sings Christian songs. Because they're really not.

But Green Day being satanic and spreading devil worship to youths? Naw....

Ah, I'll never forget the first time I learnt about heaven. My teacher was talking about how living a life of purity and faithfulness means we have to listen to what God says. But then as a reward we can get into Heaven where we can do anything. And my classmate, the first thing he asks is "Really? Anything? You mean we can fornicate as well?" It amazes me the amount of Unsaved Trash like myself who instead of obtaining guidance and knowledge from the True Christians™ of this forum, they instead try to debate with them. I have read enough and respect enough to know that True Christians™ are never wrong and to debate them instead of listening to every word they say, you are only fanning the flames of hell that you will one day dive into.

Now as far as these "Greendays", I have never heard of them but they appear dangerous and I am now going to search mu children's quarters for any evidence of "Greendays" or any other inappropriate content. Thanks for the heads up Landover!

First off its two words: Green Day

Second they are NOT metal (they consider themselves Punk but are too commercial now to be considered as such)

3rd: they are NOT new (they've been around since 89-90)

4th: they are called Green Day as a reference to them smoking pot back in the day (they're suppose to be "Straight Edge" nowadays I hear)

5th:They're only threatening you because you choose to believe they are threatening you
