In the 40 minutes or so I've been on this forum, I've seen discussions of beating children ages 0 and up, tactics to get rid of children, innocent video games promoting homosexuality and rape, questions whether or not your children are possessed, and to top it all off, calling a girl a whore and slut because she won't marry a man that raped her? I'm amazed honestly at how idiotic and sad you all are. I won't be replying again. I will in no way contribute to discussions generated by christians, the real faggots and terrorists.

First of all i want to say that im not english speaker, so i want to apologize for my language mistakes.
I want to present ( i don't see a place for presentations, sorry if it is offtopic).
I'm from spain, and i'm here because i saw these thread saying that people who plays tarcraft 2 are evil.

I'm Starcraft player and I'm aphateist, I know that now you see me like the devil or something like that, but i'm not here for attack you, and i'm not here because I want to change the way of thinking of you.

I'm here because, as you can see I think that you have the right of have your believings and the right of be respected.
And seeing this, I want to ask for the same respect.
I know that you will not respect the way of think of an atheist, and i think you have your reasons about that, but i'm not talking about that. I'm talking about Starcraft 2!
Starcraft 2 don't attack you, don't want to make you evil. I know that there is some violence, but I think is a right see this kind of things, If you don't like, perfect, but do't try to ban a right. All you know that God give us the oportunity of choose, isn't?
And in korea, starcraft is not like a religion, is like a sport like football or somethink like that, the people haver their believings even playing this.

I'm a Christian. I believer in God, and Jesus. I love them with all my heart and forever do so. I pray everyday and make church as often as possible. I know my bible well, and walk in the Lord's footsteps.

However, I feel you are twisting his word, to what YOU want. I play Starcraft II, and I love it. It hasn't done anything negative to me.

I am simply pointing out that many of the facts listed about Blizzard/Starcraft 2/Battle .Net aren't true. Many things I pointed out has nothing to do with beliefs or opinions. For example, "automatically and permanently enables webcams to allow perverts to spy on our innocent children," is laughably untrue and there's entirely no basis to make up such a ridiculous lie.

How about the fact that Cranky Old Man is a longstanding, respected member of this community, and doesn't go around defending pornographic Hell simulations like you are.

I learned about Real ID the same way you did, by reading the news and the uproar about it.

Oh, and if it's not painstakingly clear; RealID on the forums fell through months ago. In other words, you post on the forums with an alias, NOT your real name.

What does that mean? The company listened to the customers and the complaints about it. And like a 'good' company would, they decided to not to implement it.

I'm sure they lost tens of thousands of dollars in development time by listening to the customers, but oh well.

(Don't get me wrong though, they're still evil... right? )

I'm not entirely sure what that tangent of yours was trying to prove, and I strongly doubt that facts are usually correlated with science. A better, but probably more confusing word, would be a proposition, which is much more closely related to philosophy or logic.

Did this turn into a Christians bashing game? No, I wouldn't call it that. The fact (oh sorry, proposition) that C.O.M. is a "TRUE Christians™" has very little significance on whether what he said was true or not.
