Brother Temperance and I have done extensive studies on this matter.
I've come up with the follwing groups that teens (and pretty much anyone for that matter) should never listen to.

Brother Donnie Davies has already done a lot of the heavy lifting on this one and conveniently listed the gay bands that True Christians should avoid, along with the safe bands that edify the spirit (actually some of those "safe bands" look pretty Satanic to me, but I'll let you decide).

Those "Beatles" still burn my britches for claiming they were better singers than Jesus Christ. I'm glad that God has killed the two worst ones (the avowed communist John Lennin and the avowed Hairy Krisna George Harrisman).
I hope God will have them turned inside out and dipped in salt for all eternity for being who they were.
