I believe that Jesus has saved me from my sins, I do read the Bible every day, and I pray to God and trust his judgement. Who are you to say that I'm not a Christian? Before we get to your checking your credentials (because you'd have to be an expert in Biblical languages, e.g. ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek, to make the statement you just did without looking like a complete ass)...

The Bible says God is omnipotent. That means He can do anything.

If part of the Bible was mistranslated, He could fix it. He could change every Bible in the world to say exactly what He wants it to say. The fact that He hasn't done so leaves a few possibilities:

1) The Bible says what God wants it to say.
2) God is unable to change it, and therefore is not omnipotent, and thus unworthy of worship.
3) God does not want to change it, because He wants it to be unclear, meaning He doesn't care if we get saved, and worship is pointless (because we could be doing it all wrong and wouldn't know).
4) God does not exist.

Which of these possibilities do you believe is true?

Because of God's very existence -- He who causes to become. All things become manifest. Without God there is no light, therefore, He is the measure of goodness as self revealing light. The moral light God forms is the standard by which we have morality and virtue. Without God, darkness is only the privation of light. Darkness is his creature.
