hi all

first i must say thank you all for this board so i can keep my son away from nasty stuff the devil puts on this earth

as grateful as i am i am here to tell you all to ban team fortress 2 (abbreviated as TF2) for the following reasons

i discovered about it this weekend when my 15 year old son charlie brought home his friend and they were playing on his friend's laptop a game where it's nothing but killing, bad words, god bashing, anti-american propaganda, and worst of all HOMOSEXUALITY

first off this is their artwork they use to advertise to the MASSES



as you can see, they all are posed to look threatening (i guess that's what boys like these days)

there is also blantent homosexuality (when the doctor heals his patients they all say things like "i love this doctor" or "get behind me doctor!")

they made a character that looks like a soldier and he talks about god's world being his ("this is my world, you are not welcome in my world!") when i heard this i was MORBIDLY SHOCKED and appalled and ashamed of my son and he knew it

i was wondering why my son was getting into fights and after i saw this i banned him from ever seeing his friends

if you see your child playing this, tell them to uninstall it and watch him do it!!!

hope this helps parents out so your child doesn't stray far from god!

Ok heres my several problems with this:

You say it includes homosexuality when 1 character (heavy) says "i love this doctor". People can say they love someone without being gay. If your husband (if you have one) said to your son that he loves him then would you think that hes gay? No. "Get behind me doctor" is also heavy telling medic to get behind him so he can protect him from enemy fire. I also dont have a problem with gay people and i cant see why anyone would.

The soldier said that "the world was his". This is a game. In the games world there could be no god even in the real world nobody knows for sure. This isnt a christian game and you shouldn't expect your son to not play games just because the devs arent christian.

Banning your son from seeing his friends is not a thing an adult should do over a game. He doesn't get into fights because of a game. That doesn't happen.

In my experience, and from my prayers with the LORD, I have come to the incontrovertible conclusion that even if someone thinks they're being sneaking and wish to appear as if they don't mean being gay, just bringing it up means they have Sodomy on the Mind. All the time. It is the people who are most subtle about their references to rectal penetration that you have to watch the most. These are the ones who become public school teachers, Starbucks baristas, and Methodist choir directors. They are the wolves in sheep's clothing.


Oh yes, in my experience if you think of homosexuality when speaking with someone, it is because they have been pepperring the conversation with subliminal cues. They do this to plant the Seeds of Sodomy in hopes that one in every 9 or 10 cases, the person with whom they are talking will have been so well prepared that they will immediately look for a bathroom, dark hallway, or even a simple chair to bend over and spread their sin hole for the Gay Alpha.
