hi all

first i must say thank you all for this board so i can keep my son away from nasty stuff the devil puts on this earth

as grateful as i am i am here to tell you all to ban team fortress 2 (abbreviated as TF2) for the following reasons

i discovered about it this weekend when my 15 year old son charlie brought home his friend and they were playing on his friend's laptop a game where it's nothing but killing, bad words, god bashing, anti-american propaganda, and worst of all HOMOSEXUALITY

first off this is their artwork they use to advertise to the MASSES



as you can see, they all are posed to look threatening (i guess that's what boys like these days)

there is also blantent homosexuality (when the doctor heals his patients they all say things like "i love this doctor" or "get behind me doctor!")

they made a character that looks like a soldier and he talks about god's world being his ("this is my world, you are not welcome in my world!") when i heard this i was MORBIDLY SHOCKED and appalled and ashamed of my son and he knew it

i was wondering why my son was getting into fights and after i saw this i banned him from ever seeing his friends

if you see your child playing this, tell them to uninstall it and watch him do it!!!

hope this helps parents out so your child doesn't stray far from god!

I don't mean to offend anyone on this site. you are good Christians for studying the bible but, you only have a short time on this earth and there is a lot out there to see and Experiance. Get out in the world and live a little. Make the most of the time you have. Don't put the bible away for good, but have a good balance between the two.

By reading the Bible we've already been sent by Jesus to preach His Good Message all over the World. While doing this, it is hard to avoid seeing the the World in its depravity, including famine, oppression of Christians, persecution, unnatural carnal acts, etc. etc.

i am honestly pissed off right now. there is nothing wrong with being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. i have been a victim of bullying and death-threats because of my sexuality. i almost KILLED myself because of it! is that what you want? you should think about the stuff you put people like me through. god would not approve of what you are doing! so MAYBE you guys shouldn't be such a dick to people like us. there is still a chance for you to be a good person. for your community, for your church, and for god. isn't that what you want?

If we didn't have the Bible we would have to agree with you. Practically all secular evidence backs you up. Many of us know many such people personally and we know that you can be just as nice or irritating as any other person. Because of their hardship in society, they are often, in fact, nicer in the secular manner than regular people. The children you raise can be as successful academically as any other kid.

But we do have the Bible. It is the Word of God. Only by reading the Bible have we been able to find out that your kind is condemned.

You see, if these verses didn't exist we'd be in obscurity regarding sexual orientation but Jesus must know something we don't as He has posted us the sentences above. Our mission is to tell the public that the only thing that matters is God (= Jesus) and how to get to spend the Eternity with Him. He tells us that sexual minorities (when they practice their orientation) won't make it into Heaven. We know that this mundane life is useless and tedious and often awful but Jesus wanted our earthly existence to be filled with agony (John 12:25). We're not supposed to be happy here (I surely am not) but in Heaven!

pretty much I got enough information I needed why BaseballMom67 got offended by the game called "Team Fortress 2".

Because of the comics itself, Like seriously the comics are like mixed with anti-god propagandas and completely ignoring the bible and the comic creators itself think its still in the holy zone but its not because its ignoring the bible.
And yes I read all the tf2 comics and its disturbing also the sfms where 67% of all the video (I watched too much because I'm done studying and I did all my chorse can't cout it all) I watched are Team Fortress 2 and some of them are same sex kissing first they were friends now it turned to same sex love all of the sudden (probably the models characters attracts womens and gay bisexuals). And the rest are other games like Overwatch and Dota 2.

And also the last part, The fan arts are kinda bit overboard. Not gonna show any pics but it contains gay marrage, sexual intercourse (by just turning off safe search), best friends of the same sex turns love all of the sudden and turning the male characters to female versions and make the original and the female versions love each other and have weird boners. Also it triggers me that only few sfms that has Ms. Pauling in it are 10% no lust and 90% are pornographies... and 40% of the 90% are lesbians.

pretty much it is bad for our eyes because Valve itself made it look attractive but not the anime type for some people to play it because they know that the character roles sucks and making the models ugly is even more worst so they rework the original Team Fortress and until they're done they rename it Team Fortress 2 reborn.

These games are horrifying precisely because they ignore the Bible. Christians don't ignore the Bible. That's what makes them Christians. And they don't ignore it when some piece of "entertainment" ignores the Bible.

And don't tell me that they don't affect the people playing them. We've seen this over and over and over again. People like yourself, ADQ, who say that it's "just a game," and then go off to spout pro-homosexual rhetoric left and right. You think we don't notice? Some of your sentences have verbs.

I've witnessed the decay of Christian values, just in my lifetime. It's the children that are doing it. That's who the homosexuals are targeting, just like they always do.

You know what I was taught? Age brings wisdom. And old people know: homosexuality kills, and these "video games" kill. I don't know what they teach over there in the Malasian Islanders. I also forgot that some childrens or teens (age of 15 knows how to use sfm) started making funny videos about it that doesn't make sence but finds it funny. But I find it a little funny and creepy also the words that they say is funny and disturbing that I turned derpy all of the sudden, ( the entire research I watched about tf2 sfms are like 50% homosexual, bisexual, hetrosexual and male characters turned to female sfms, 30% funny sfms that makes no sence but attrats younger audience like fnaf sfms and 20% saxxy award videos. Which are crap, the reason why they no longer give saxxy awards.) What is this sign?

I am a christian and respect the fact that you all don't want people to play TF2. But if you truly love your neighbour, as it is asked of us, why not let them love you back, even if it means dealing with "Gamerturds."

"Love us back"? If you take the time to peruse the different threads devoted to discussions about video games you will see that what gamers bring onto our forum when they post is not love.


They bring disrespect, repetitive information, outright insults and occasionally profane content.
