Rather then defend Portal 2 in a defensive manner that does not relate to what this particular church believes, I will support Portal for their perspective.

first a quote from the Book of Job 12:8:

this clearly states that god wants us to learn about the earth by testing and "science". this game is based off of science (wormholes do exist, google it). The scientific part is creating wormholes.

To counteract your second argument that it dooms your child to hell via the companion cube. The companion cube in both portals is destroyed (1st game you drop it in incinerator [hell] , second it is obliterated).

On to your third argument that it promotes sex, first of all there is one human character in the game, and she never talks. By the way having sex with your self is called masturbation, and its been proven scientifically to be good for your health ("And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness..." I never even thought about people doing that if this technology was real until you brought it up, and even if that is nasty and people who even think of that deserve to burn in hell.

Now to the lying part, you know what happens to liars in the bible, the burn in hell. You know what happens to GLaDoS (the liar in the game), you put parts of her in the incinerator (hell).

Finally to credit card part, that hack is from 2007 and there has not been a hack since then, and even if you say it could happen, you can buy the disk [like i did] and play it on an Xbox 360 (an American product unlike PS3).

I have viewed it from your POV and still think its a good game.

I've randomly read this topic and i was shocked. How you could act this way and say that you believe in God. You are hypocrites. First of all play the game(most of you doesn't even know what was main antihero name). Second, i noticed that near the banned names is the text about damnation.
