i am not a christian, and i dont think i ever will be, however i would like to share my views on homosexuality.
i am not one, however many of my friends are and i am proud of them.

they are open minded, accepting people, more accepting than anyone else i know.

however the poeple that are posting these threads arent either of these, and i thought that your god taught you to accept people whatever their creed, or colour. whether rich or poor, black or white, why is gay or straight left out of this equation? gay's and lesbians have accepted themselves, and if they believe in god then they must know that god's accepted them too, however the sons and daughters of your god havent', so why dont you begin to become more accepting? its not a matter of forgiveness because they have done nothing wrong.

gay and lesbian love was once known as the purest type of love, because they werent doing it for sex, they were doing it for the attraction between two people, whereas straight people could just be doing it for sex and for making children. homosexuality cant create these things, which implies these poeple must love each other for their personality, for who they are, for who you believe god made them. if you believe that everyone is a child of god, then you must believe that they are too, that they are your brothers and sisters and that they love you as you should love them. just because they arent the same sexuality as you doesnt mean they are horrible or corrupted. people can murder and still be forgiven by your god, however these people who have done nothing wrong but love purely can't be in your eyes, don't you think thats wrong?

if you truly believe in your god then you will trust him, and if you believe that everyone is a child of him then you must also believe that these homosexuals are his too. if you really believe in your god you wont question his decision to allow gays and lesbians in this world, you must accept it, like you accept his forgiveness when you hurt another. you may not understand it at this moment or as to why hes allowed it but you dont need to, because if you really trust him then you will know that he will explain it to you one day, and that you will understand. all you have to do is accept, if you cant accept everyone then you cant call yourself a christian or a true believer in god. you can't have accepted yourself because there is a bit of god in everyone, and god has accepted them, so why can't you?
