    Beware the vegetarians

Friends, there is nothing more homersexual than a diet without red meat. A diet of nothing but vegetables, nuts & fruits will turn anybody into a fruit. I'm proud to say that my colon overflows with animal products, like any other good Christian. My cholesterol level is high, but that pleases Jesus, & speeds up that heart attack which will send me to be with Him; glory.

O, how much I agree. It was fruit that led to man’s expulsion from Paradise and we know what heathen women do with cucumbers and bananas.
Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Cousin Ed goes "hunting" in the farmyard to shoot livestock?

I hope it was at least his own farmyard.

                Leviticus 11

7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

I realize you're new to Landover, and probably haven't thoroughly studied God's Word yet.

Sister JennyD, I am surely confused. For it continues: But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Since in Leviticus 11:7, the swine is naturally unclean, can it not be understood by Acts that swine may only be eaten when our Lord has cleansed it? Unless our Lord has cleansed Jimmy C Lombardo’s swine, isn’t still unclean?

I offer no disrespect. I seek nothing but enlightenment and if I have wronged you by my questions, feel free to discipline me.

                      Re: Beware the vegetarians

Thank you Sister JennyD, I see it was a test. I continued to study Acts and I see where in Acts 10:17, Peter, "doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean." It is not until Acts 10:28 that Peter, "said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.” In the statement, “God hath shewed me,” Peter was referring back to Acts 10:11 to 10:15.

Peter’s vision was not one of animals but of men.
Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Landover accepts that Jesus did not come to change the Law but to fulfil it, nevertheless, the jooish dietary law is dismissed in M't:15:11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
