Re: Welcome to Straight 4 Jesus!
So, I'm just wondering...
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this section is all about getting people to not be gay, and you're planning on doing this by getting them to love another man?
Did I get that right?

I believe I have stated all that I need to state, and little more will ever be necessary.
Besides, I probably should be banned anyway, I generally discuss extremely controversial things and I question most things I hear. I in turn have a very debate centered personality.
That being said, as an apology for my misunderstanding, as well as due to my own person disgust I will kindly request a ban from a moderator on this forum.
I'm sorry, but it is our policy NEVER to remove the account of an unsaved fool. Your belligerent hatemongering will remain for future unsaved scum to see and learn from for all eternity (or until Jesus returns to slay most of the earth, whichever comes first).
Jesus called you here for a reason, so you might rethink your selfish tantrum and stick around.
If you'd really like to remove yourself from our Godly forum, all you need to do is to click on that tiny red "x" in the upper righthand corner of your computer screen. Then close your computer, stand up, and walk away.

Ah, but the problem is, we HAVE those records still (Dead Sea scrolls, etc.) which prove that Scripture has NOT been changed....And the reason that our earliest copies match todays is that people in political and religious power (as displayed throughout all of human history) love to torch, or burn all records of, anything that contradicts what they have to say or what they want to happen.
...
Your scenario is applicable to the Koran, though. The original compiler destroyed all the source documentation (almost 200 years after Mohammed's time) so no uncomfortable questions can be asked, let alone answered.
What heated debate? You're getting schooled, while offering no support for your blasphemous personal opinions (which is all they are until you offer evidence of anything you purport to be truth)....Now, I would go deaper into the toppic, after all I have put years of study into this whole thing, but arguing with biblical literalists gets boring after a while and I don't like being bored. So I will continue this entertainingly heated debate after I am done wallowing in my boredom.

OOOOh I just found this out and this is GOLD.
You guys actually thought I was telling the truth when I said I was a homosexual. I was being sarcastic to make a point, I was mocking the fact that you guys think homosexuals are out to ruin society, if they where I'm sure they'd try to hit somewhere that would actually damage society, and not just do things regarding their social lives.

What proof do you have of this?
Or this?
Does that include the fourth commandment? How do you decide whether the Jews, who observe the Sabbath from Friday dusk to Saturday dusk, or Christians, who observe it on Sunday, are right?
As political power has changed hands more than a couple of times since Moses received the tablets on Sinai, wouldn't the Bible have been re-written each time to match? Why do the Scriptures we read still match the earliest copies we have?
If you really are a Christian, you have to believe that God is omniscient (sees everything) and omnipotent (can do anything). If the Bible does not match God's Will exactly, that means that either:
1) God doesn't want His Will to be known to mankind, which means that He does not want us to be saved, and is thus unworthy of worship.
2) God doesn't know that His word has been corrupted, which means He is not omniscient, and thus is unworthy of worship.
3) God is unable to preserve His word, which means He is not omnipotent, and thus is unworthy of worship.
4) God does not exist.
Which of these possibilities do you think is true?

From my point of view life itself is a test, I simply believe that letting man do this is yet another one of these tests.
It seems I am mistaken.
Yet another Godmocker who has nothing better to do than come to God's friendliest website and spew her hatred.
I thought you atheisticals didn't believe in God: you seem to talking an awful lot about Him.
Is there something you are not telling us?

to the point that the original bible, whatever it may have contained, is lost for the rest of human existence.

He is all powerful, friend. The Bible is EXACTLY how He wants it.

Where's your evidence that God is so ineffective He can't manage the content of His written word in the King James Bible (other bibles are false warpings of His word)?Originally posted by Franklen Mann View PostAnd thus my point has been missed once again.

So you just cherry pick the bits that make you feel good. Pro tip: avoid all of Romans 1. Seriously. It deals with perverts like you.
