If God existed and were as the Landover Baptists imagine him to be, talking to him would do no good. He'd agree with them on everything, since they get all of their opinions out of the big book of fairy tales that he supposedly gave them.

Pretty sure it says somewhere in there to love thy neighbour. It doesn't say "love they neighbour, but only if they're 100% pure". If God was truly as judgemental as you all seem to make him out then we would all be going to hell! You can't hate that many people (gay, Muslim, black, abortionists) and possibly be a good person. Have you ever thought that it might be your fault that gays commit suicide? It's not because God hates them, it's because people like you hate them!

It is precisely because of our Christian love that we point out the sin and depredation in others, that they may be Saved® and join us in Heaven. If we didn't love homosexurals, why would we bother to share the Gospel with them and encourage them to seek a cure for their perversion? I know that if it wasn't for the Christian love shown to me over a decade ago, I would still be wallowing in the homosexural deathstyle. That is, if I wasn't already dead of the AIDS and thrashing about in the fiery pits of hell!

God stands in judgment of us all. Try actually reading the Holy Bible (KJV 1611) before presuming to tell us about God. If it wasn't for Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we all most assuredly would be destined for eternity of unfathomable torment in the lake of fire, because we are all born in sin!

As Sister BiG pointed out, who is our neighbor? In essence, our neighbor is someone who is 100% pure, in other words, a True Christian(tm). Furthermore we are commanded to set ourselves apart from unsaved trash, so how could a Godmocking queer be our neighbor in the first place?

Not only that, but let's go a step further. Notice how it says "love" and not "tolerate". Love =/= tolerance. Sometimes you have to show a person tough love by rebuking them and judging them. If you had a teenager who was doing heroin, would you stand aside and "tolerate" it? Is that love?

Imagine a situation, a child is born with a disfigured face and body. That child is clearly disabled. He or she may be bullied because of it. Other children may find it hard to accept this poor child.
