Of course there will be error, but that is the fault of man. I could pick up the original letters of Paul and translate them falsely then publish them - that would be my fault.

But God has got his book translated successfully, but in some publications there have been mistakes. KJV is one of them because moses did not have horns.

So a teenaged geek knows more than God about His Holy Word.

Bobby Joe- You are so much more retarded than people give you credit for. That which you described is EXACTLY how businesses work in America. Businesses are driven by the almighty $ and the larger companies drive the smaller companies out of business. Just think about how many Mom and Pop's places have gone under when a Wal-Mart moves into the area. The same with phone companies, oil companies, electric companies, etc...etc...I could go on forever. The larger companies eat up the smaller ones when they start to gather up momentum. All due to the unregulating of business ethics from your "godly" Bush. His pockets are being lined from oil companies (that he hasn't driven into the ground) and in turn he lets them jack up the price of gas to record heights. He is a pathetic steaming pile of a president. I am counting the days 'till he's out of office!!!! (BTW for those interested it's 360 days, 4 hrs, 27 minutes, and 37 seconds till America can be FREE again!)

The poor woman gave more because she gave everything she had, and that is amiable. Evidently Jesus was working in percentages rather then numbers when it came to giving. It makes sense that if you are poor it is easier to give away everything, because you have less.

Note that Ananias sold a piece of land, and brought part of the sale price to the apostles. He was under no compulsion to give them all of the proceeds, and according to the Bible, did not lie about how much he sold it for. (His wife, of course, following the commands of her husband, did lie.)

He made it seem like he was giving all when in fact he was not giving all, the lessons seems to be, don't be a charlatan. I don't see how this effects anyone else's tithing apart from don't make your tithing to appear to be something that it is not.
