Those people know nothing of compassion. Screaming "Thank God for dead soldiers!" at a family burying a soldier is NOT compassionate. It's cruel.

As is screaming "God hates fags!" at a family burying a loved one who died of AIDS - or who played a gay man in a movie.

This aside, Westboro is patently attempting to preach the Word of God. At funerals, the Word of God should be spoken. Following the bomb attack on Westboro by militants inspired by the devil, Westboro argued cogently that God, seeing how his Word had been despised and His Christians, witnessing His Gospel, were hurt, took the matter in hand by leading Americans to death.

This is no different from several incidents recounted in the Bible, where God disposes of His enemies, en masse or piecemeal.

Westboro therefore rightly warns of the reason behind the consequences of opposition to God by means of lawful demonstration. Those who oppose, oppose God and perpetuate the deaths – in effect the protesters are baying for more death.

Even you are aware of The Lord’s view on shirt-lifters and their ilk – again Westboro carries a message – unwelcome to the Unsaved™ – that tallywhackers have 2 purposes and neither is another man.

You may agree that Westboro is the lieberal underbelly of the Baptist Church compared with the True Christian Church at Landover, but this does not prevent them from witnessing the Word of The Lord, albeit imperfectly.

I hope that I have thus shown that your recalcitrant views are in error and that Westboro is right and Godly and that those who oppose are the minions of satan.

The correct view is therefore that the protesters are legally in error – to incite another (Another) to cause the death of a third party is an offence in all States – and, regrettable as it is, the Bible tells us to obey secular law.

The offence is greater than the right of free speech by virtue of the limitations on the latter (e.g. it is not a right of free speech to tell North Koreans US secrets)

At funerals, only those who have been asked to speak should speak. Interlopers who have no connection to the deceased or his/her loved ones should not intrude and disrupt.
