Listen up, Boy. I am still waiting for a logical response to my earlier post. Obviously you are a crack smoking degenerate that is obsessed with raping children.

Although it would seem unlikely to others, you can still be saved. repent, walk away from the crack pipe and the rent boys. God has a plan for you.

      Re: Atheists, please read this!

Oh my goodness. What an interesting blog this is. I shall have fun here indeed.

OK, since this is the one topic (of many) that caught my eye, I shall proceed in commenting.

I am Christian, so we all share at least one common interest on this forum. Now, for the fun part....voicing my opinion.

      Matthew 7:1-6
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

This is an interesting passage from the Holy Bible. From what I can see on this forum, many of my brothers and sisters in Christ don't spend time reading this. You judgement, bigotry and ridicule makes me kind of ashamed to call myself Christian. From what I understand, our Father in heaven is the only one that has the right to judge us mere mortals.

      1 John 4:16
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

Looking at this forum, I honestly don't see much love going around. If others don't have the exact belief system you have, they are immediately condemned to hell in your eyes, which brings us right back around to the judging of others.

      Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you

God forgives sin, who are we not to forgive, to judge others for what we see as sinful lifestyles? Would it not be better if we try to live our lives in the image of Christ, focusing all our strength on being better Christians, and doing kind deeds? Instead we sit around and judge others, muddying our own souls with hate.

      Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Would we not be better served spreading a message of kindness, etc. showing the world what true children of God is?

      Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

The hatred I've seen spread on this forum and on many others does not portray a God of love.

Sorry, my God is a god of love, a God of forgiveness, a God who weeps at the hatred being spread in his name.

Sorry Angel. You seem to be a bit of a cherry picker. What you need to do, as I have done, is go and actually read your Bible (KJV 1611 in the original Old English). We live by the Word of God literally. In fact you could say that The Bible (KJV 1611) has been brought to life by us.

There is no hatred here apart from that brought in by atheists and cherry pickers, like yourself.

All I see is hatred here. You don't know me, yet you deem it necessary to say I am hating? I have many versions of the Bible, since I have an inquiring mind. Between working on my oncology specialty, raising a lovely set of twins and creating a loving home for my husband, I also have time to read the Word, and try to live according to the example Jesus gave. But I suppose being an educated woman who does not judge others would put me in the category of a "cherry picker", whatever that might mean.

            Friend,

If you feel we are not following Christ's message of unconditional love or damnation to humanity please tell us specifically were we show hate for the unsaved scum of the world. Are we not giving these sinners His message as He tasks us with His Great Commission to us true and good Christians? To do otherwise is to let a sinner slink off to hell without trying to help. Merely saying they hopeless, because sinners are repulsive, pervert scum is not what Jesus wants.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Well, "unsaved scum of the world"? Wow, that is drowning them in love right there. How can you preach love, yet call someone you don't know scum? Wouldn't a better approach be to get closer to the unsaved with kind gestures, and then tell them how wonderful our God is? I mean, actions does speak louder than words...and leading by example is always a very good way of getting unsaved individuals to listen to the beautiful message of our Lord?

If learning the true message that was left for us in the Bible (and unlearning all the lies told you by your parents, teachers, and pastors over the years) is fun, then yes, you shall.

...Now, for the fun part....voicing my opinion...
Please provide Scripture supporting your unstated allegation that your opinion is more valid than the Bible.

...Matthew 7:1-6......From what I understand, our Father in heaven is the only one that has the right to judge us mere mortals...
Then how do you account for all of the places where the Bible commands Christians to judge others? Oh, that's right, you just ignore the inconvenient bits, don't you?

...If others don't have the exact belief system you have, they are immediately condemned to hell in your eyes...
Why don't we see what the Bible has to say on the matter? Here we go:

John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

                Um, yeah.

...The hatred I've seen spread on this forum and on many others does not portray a God of love...
Now you expect them to defend not only their own actions and words, but those of some unnamed "other forums" that these people have nothing to do with, no control over, not even an idea of who the hell you're referring to? Way to set an impossibly bar for others to reach (oh, but NOT yourself, who doesn't even have the courtesy to identify yourself, hiding behind a pseudonym).

...Sorry, my God is a god of love, a God of forgiveness, a God who weeps at the hatred being spread in his name.
My mistake, I thought you said you were a Christian.

Your homework assignment: find out what the Bible says about how to treat people who try to convince you to follow other gods, offer their own interpretation of Scripture, or ignore parts of the Bible.

I actually did provide scripture for my statements, and just commented on my understanding of said scriptures.

I serve a living God who send His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I strive every day to live a life of tolerance, forgiveness and love, and in so doing uplifting the name of God through my actions. I try not to judge, since I am not pure. I try to love, since God is love. I try to be kind, since we shall be known by our actions. I try to heal the sick in my profession, clothe the poor, with the help from my church, give hope to the hopeless by giving them an ear that will listen, and understanding. Isn't that why we were created?

I do believe in the Bible. I also believe that some Christians spread a message of fire and brimstone, when the same effect can be had with a gentler approach. As for your post on a person on a train track; every person has a free will. You can provide them with the truth, the word and the message, but it will be their ultimate choice to make. We can only hope and pray that they make the right choice for them.

Between working on my oncology specialty, raising a lovely set of twins and creating a loving home for my husband, I also have time to read the Word, and try to live according to the example Jesus gave. But I suppose being an educated woman who does not judge others would put me in the category of a "cherry picker", whatever that might mean.
Angel. As far as we, as True Christians, are concerned there is only one version of The Holy Bible. The 1611 KJV. We live our lives by thi literally and do not deviate fro the True Word. What you really need to do is forget about all the secular BS you have heard and start to really believe. Read the Book, understand The Book and LIVE by the book. This means know your place, woman:

                        Genesis 3:13

And the LORD God said vnto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The Serpent beguiled me, and I did eate.
                        Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

And others have provided Scripture to show that your understanding is either incomplete or mistaken.

I serve a living God who send His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins.
                          So do we.

John 3:16-18: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I strive every day to live a life of tolerance, forgiveness and love, and in so doing uplifting the name of God through my actions.
You may wish to read my sermon on tolerance here.

I try not to judge, since I am not pure.
I thought you said you were a Christian.

1 John 3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1 John 5:18: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I try to love, since God is love. I try to be kind, since we shall be known by our actions. I try to heal the sick in my profession, clothe the poor, with the help from my church, give hope to the hopeless by giving them an ear that will listen, and understanding. Isn't that why we were created?
If we were created to help others, couldn't God have saved the trouble by not creating those who need our help? Also, what you are saying sounds suspiciously like the heresy of salvation through works:

Eph. 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

And in which way, pray tell, did the Serpent beguile me? As for the "secular BS", you have absolutely no idea how I was raised, so don't even begin to try and unravel my psyche.

How gentle was Christ with the moneychangers, or with the people whom He called dogs and vipers?

As for your post on a person on a train track; every person has a free will. You can provide them with the truth, the word and the message, but it will be their ultimate choice to make. We can only hope and pray that they make the right choice for them.
We are providing them with the truth, the Word, and the message, and you're taking us to task for that.

So you are 100% without sin? You don't envy your neighbor when he buys a new car? You don't comment on a beautiful woman when you see one (lust)? You don't shave your face? You don't wear cotton blends? You don't pass out for an afternoon nap after a huge Sunday lunch (sloth and gluttony all in one there)?

Wow, It is the first time in my life I have the honor of speaking to a person without any sin.

I know my examples are petty, but the Bible does mention them as sins.
