  • Throughout History, the Wealthy Have Avoided Plagues

We can thank Jesus the wealthy have always throughout history avoided world-wide plagues. These were the Black Plague, Spanish Flu, Cholera Pandemic and Russian Flu to name a few. The pandemics left intelligent and wealthy families to go forward and populate the planet and leave behind those not so blessed.

The wealthy were always able to leave crowded cities and retreat to their country estates or isolated compounds. Today, we see the disease spreading most rapidly in slaughtering plants. These filthy places employ those of darker skinned races and white people who did not make the cut.

Here in Freehold, we are isolated and prosperous and in the tradition of pandemics can leave, shall we call them, the less fortunate to contract disease.

    Again, thank you Jesus.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

The rich are rich because of their love for Jesus. They have tirelessly given to Him and as He has promised, time and time again, to repay that generosity with untold riches. So it is not the well-to-do's fault.

God wants them to continue their life of philanthropy and a moments hint of illness (what as everyone knows, is due to not loving God as much as they should) would hinder that.
Personally, I feel being incredibly rich is a terrible burden and one that the poor mercifully have managed to escape. After a big dinner, sitting back in my study, library or wine cellar and ingesting a digestive libation, I have to admit feeling pangs of possible jealousy. But those fade wen I doze off as my feet are rubbed by one of the houseboys.

Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I believe that the fact that the wealthy seem immune to plagues of various types is a coincidence. As Brother James has pointed out, the rich are rich because they have been blessed by God with wealth. They wax rich due to God's love for them because they are good and upright Christians, in service to the Lord. For the very same reason, they are protected by God and made immune to all sickness and plague. They love God, He loves them and all is right and good.

Conversely, the poor are poor because God does not will them to be wealthy. They are usually slothful and lazy. Most are usually unemployed. They do not love God and He does not love them. Thus they are made to perish of diverse illnesses.

The answer, as usual, is Jesus. Only through a personal relationship with Jesus may the pitfalls and perils of life be managed, to say nothing of the fires of eternal damnation which await the unsaved.

Not only that, Mayor, but many have increased their wealth. Plagues are often associated with negative effects, but God sends plagues and God never gives you more than you can bear.

I am, by God’s guidance, a Republican and a firm believer in the earthly power of the free market. Reading the Bible has shown that I need not be overly concerned about mass death as long as it is God’s will - I know God is looking out for me. With that in mind…

This is why the lockdown must stop:

          Shutting the economy has casualties
Obviously, it is not going to affect 1%ers – nothing does because this is a benefit of God’s Grace in which they revel. No, it will be illegal immigrants, the poor, the hungry, the dispossessed, the tired and huddled masses, those who’ve just changed jobs, contract workers, employees of businesses that will have to close, etc., etc. It is they who suffer first – their death rate rises with every 0.1% drop in the economy – in the time you have taken to read this far, 400 people have died.

There is a crossover point that we are approaching when the virus itself will cause fewer deaths than a weakened economy. That said, there is no reason to increase their misery on the poor – their “pre-Covid” misery was quite sufficient for God’s purpose. If you are a Democrat – give this some thought – it was your economic policies that left them like that, so you should be pleased.

          Old people are uneconomic
Though it is a terrible shame for those who had senior citizens in the family or, indeed used to have them but, from a purely financial standpoint, many of them were a severe drag on the economy. They tend to spend very little per head, consume vast amounts of taxes because they were not frugal in their younger days and require many public services.

The math is simple: 300 million Americans between 0 and 80 -> 12.5% are 70 – 80+. We can take advantage of any normalization of social density to boost pensions for, and increase services to, the expected 5% of survivors – the survivors can have twice as much as before and the burden on the taxes is still reduced by 2½%.

Old people occupy large houses that they bought cheaply and which are now well beyond their needs: think of the boost to the housing market even after the costs of sanitizing them.

The young too will benefit - I see a lot of sharp, young business men who say they are held back by the fossilized ideas of the elderly bosses - well, this is their chance.

          We’ll all get it anyway
We can’t all stay inside forever, so why not open up, take the hit of overwhelming the medical services and a pandemic taking its course directed by God? Then, by August, we all be relaxing and back at work, where we should be. If it is God's Will - obviously He has a number of dead in mind, otherwise when would He know to stop? We can get it over with or be on the lam for decades. And, Dear Lord! Vaccination will do no good - it never does. Look around you - how many unvaccinated kids can you name who have died?

          Isn’t this incredibly “right wing”?
Hey, all you so-called liberal and hippy types, why aren’t you out on the streets fighting this fascism? Get out your “Che Guevara” T-shirts and berets, bring along your acoustic Guitars and Dylan songbooks - A government forbidding you to go outside surely violates your precious human rights? Come on, riot for your right to buy Starbucks. Do us all a favour.

          Small businesses are suffering
Small businesses throughout the land must survive to support those who rely on their power to produce wealth. Small businesses are the most important thing in the world, the greatest thing humanity has yet created, the apotheosis of Western civilisation and aesthetic beauty. Nothing is as valuable as their continued existence. (Just checking: you know when I say ‘small businesses’ I mean ‘any corporation with more than 20,000 employees and at least three overseas bases’?)

          I myself am at risk
I am an elderly white male, and am thus in the highest risk category but nevertheless, I foresee disaster ahead if these words are not heeded - I urge that lockdown be ended. I have set up a fully functional virtual HQ on my private island, for no better reason than I am obeying current orders, but, I believe that those orders have now run their course. I myself will be stuck on the island until at least October when the renewal of the contract on the equipment comes to an end – I unfortunately will not be able to meet you physically on the streets but my heart will be with you.

In today's Des Moines Register is an article that highlights the problems of the wealthy. There is a town about two hours from Freehold, Columbus Junction, Iowa. It has a huge Tyson hog butchering plant. The plant is having large numbers of workers dying from coronavirus. Workers come from all over the world, especially Mexico and Central America.

As a local businessman says, when one of the workers gets sick or dies there is "someone else ready and willing to take the job." So, why is our Governor telling the to shut down the plant?

The more serious problem is there are white Christian bankers in Columbus Junction, one is the Mayor. These bankers make loans to white Christian farmers to finance hog farms. Honest white farmers and bankers need the Tyson plant open to buy the hogs. Hogs that have to be kept on the farm too long do not make the finest pork chops and hams.

Make America Great Again. Open the Tyson hog plant in Columbus Junction.

Even though history shows plagues mostly harm the poor and leave the rich unaffected, I've been a little worried about coronavirus. Could it be different and harm we who are important and well off?

Much to my relief the answer is coming in. Statistics are piling up. They show it is mostly poor people who are sick and dying and not the rich. This is as it has always been and as Jesus himself wants it to be.

To the citizens of Freehold, pray today this disease stays where it is supposed to be, out in poorer areas and not within the city limits of this prosperous and shining city on a hill.
