You know, this all brings back so many fond childhood memories. When my Father was giving one of his field hands his "Regular whipping" he did in fact have him bound to an old oak tree.

"Wash away my sins Lord" CRACK! " Make me clean and pure as snow " WHACK! " Beating out the demons at the tree of woe! " WHIP...

Gosh, I used to swing from an old rope left hanging in that tree.

Praise God on high, and my new found friends for bringing back such wonderful memories!

An interesting story: In New Jersey, one of the ambulance companies is owned by a Christian man whose application for employment requires those looking for work to write a full page testimony of how they came to love the Lord and their feelings regarding praying for those whom they serve. Anyone not willing to complete that section (or anyone refusing to pray) is not hired. He has been sued many times, but God just keeps blessing him so he wins the suits and keeps praising Jesus!
