    Introduction

    Hello,

When I was 15 years old, I was sent to prison for 2nd murder. I spent 10 years behind bars; however while I was there, I took advantage of the educational programs, and was able to walk away with some schooling underneath my belt.

When I got out, I went to a technical college and got a two year degree in computer technology, and than finished up my four year degree at a different school, getting my B.A. in Communication.

Even with the major felony that I had, I was still able to land high paying jobs in corporate America. Unfortunately, because I didn't have God in my life and nobody to help me see the truth. I've already blown through all of my savings and 401K on drugs, strip clubs, and gambling.

I have a good paying job right now, but not having Jesus Christ in my life, has made my whole prison experience pointless, because I don't feel like I'm doing any better out in the free world, than I was locked up.

So that back drop leads me to answering the questions that were asked:

When I was young, I went to Pilgrim Baptist Church, located in St. Paul, MN.

When I moved to Arizona, I met a lot of negro people who said they were Christians, but in the end, they only helped to keep moving me in the wrong direction towards Satan. I went to a whole bunch of churches out there, I just can't remember any of the names.

My favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 6:5 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ.

I came to find Jesus because I want to be saved. I need True Christians to show me how to worship and love Jesus Christ, in ways that haven't been taught to me yet.

If I didn't come to Jesus at this point in my life. Then I know my son will grow up to be just like me, and I want to give him the chance I never had growing up. Plus I want my son to love Jesus Christ, just like his father.
    Slaves, Obey Your Masters
    Ephesians 6:5-7
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.

    Re: Introduction

Ted, thank you for your lovely introduction.

You are asking us, how to best worship Jesus. Why trust us? We are merely messengers, the Bible is the Message! We highly recommend that you read the Bible for yourself. All answers you seek are there. And when you do read it, please do not skip or try to explain away the parts which fluffy bunny Christians don't like. True Believers cannot just pick and choose the verses they like, we have to follow His Word 100%.
God created fossils to test our faith.

    My favorite LBC sermons:
    True Christians are Perfect!
    True Christian™ Love.
    Salvation™ made Easy!
You can’t be a Christian if you don’t believe the Old Testament.
Jesus is impolite. Deal with it.
Jesus is xenophobic and so should we.
Sanctity of Life is NOT a Biblical Concept.
    Biblical view on modern-day slavery.
The Immorality of the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights."
Geneva Conventions vs. The Holy Bible.
    God HATES Rational Thinking!
True Christian™ Man as a spitting image of God.

      Re: Introduction

I would recommend a lot of Bible, but I won't forget to mention tithes as well.

You know, supporting your Church is extremely important.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

You are absolutely right to say that my words sound very angry, because they do. I'll work very hard to not let that happen again.

This is a loving church, where the people have shown me nothing but compassion and true friendship from day one.

For that, I will never betray those that truly want to see me become a better Christian.

We should maybe now leave this whole sorry mishap behind us and let Elfin's thread continue on its own course?
I didn't following the rules of the website when I first became a member, which was to write out an introduction before doing anything else.

And in my haste to get it done after the fact. I still didn't do it right, which lead to me disrespecting Elfin's thread.

I appreciate you giving me criticism, because I need to learn that I can no longer live my life the way I did before.

Hold your horses, dear. We at Landover do not receive donations from just anyone. Your dossier is waiting to be reviewed by our Department of Faith as we speak; it may take a while, though, as our secretary has been missing for a while, and a considerable backlog of applications has accumulated:
