Re: Greetings in Jesus' Name!
Hello, Dear Basilissa: Thank you! Now I see it. For some reason, these old eyes didn't notice it in the long list of topics. I look forward to seeing you, Sister Esther and so many other lovely, Godly women over there. Blessings to you! Sincerely, Isabella W.

What Esther meant was the Auntie Flo's Prayer Shack for Women which can be found on the main forum index near the bottom (under the Landover Today! blue heading).Originally posted by Isabella White View PostHello, Dear Esther: Me again. Can you please tell me if the women's forum is separate, or if it's a sub-forum of one of the other forums (such as the one for "Focus on Family")? I do get a bit confused by technology sometimes and it can frustrate this old librarian. Goodness, I can still remember having to ring the operator to place a call from a big wooden box on the wall! Thank you so much, Dear, and have a blessed evening in the Lord.

Re: Greetings in Jesus' Name!
Thank you kindly, Sister Esther! I'm still getting used to the layout of the site, and just now finding a few of the forums. At 84, I'm not quite as quick with these computer gizmos as the young whippersnappers, but I'm sure I will see you in the women's forum. May the Lord richly bless the remainder of your day as you serve Him!Originally posted by Esther B. View PostWelcome, Mrs. White! I hope to see you in the women's forum soon!

[QUOTE=Dana723;1248112]Welcome, Mrs. White!
Thank you, Dear Dana! It is a privilege and a pleasure to be amongst so many of the Lord's finest people. I look forward to much fellowship with you. Wishing your God's great blessings, Isabella W. P.S., I've never had dandelion tea. If you have time, would you kindly tell me how to prepare it? Many thanks, and continued blessings to you on the Lord's Day!

Welcome, Mrs. White!

I do have an area in my garden just for dandelions. I have found I have a weakness for dandelion tea. It calms the nerves at times. Plus the greens make a delicious salad! And it's all free!

Re: Greetings in Jesus' Name!
Dear Basilissa: Thank you for your message. I understand your situation. I may have mentioned that my father was a strict Pentecostal preacher, and my mother and I were used to persecution. That's a very good idea about visiting other parts of the forums, and I must take this up. Perhaps I shall see you here and there? All the best, Dear one.Originally posted by Basilissa View PostOh thank you dear, you are so sweet.

Now, dear, if you really want to make amends, you should venture out of your own introduction thread and try participating in other ongoing discussions.

May I take this opportunity to apologize to you for my somewhat tart message from last evening? I have received a rebuke (aka as an "infraction notice"), and I must make amends. I meant no disrespect to you or to your beloved Enrique, so I ask for your forgiveness, although I did think my advice was of a practical nature. As for discussing delicious pies, perhaps that is a good idea, although I think we should avoid using certain brands of southern flour in the recipes. May Jesus shine His light on you. Sincerely, Isabella

I'll be sure to include some trigger warnings the next time I wish to discuss my plants and weeds.
Would you prefer that we switch the subject to our most delicious pies?

Re: Greetings in Jesus' Name!
Dear Dr. Niles: Thank you for your response. Yes, words do have power -- there is absolutely no question about that! But I'm wondering if you have been seeing recurring faces in the wallpaper patterns. Not everything in life in scary, except for Hellfire, eternal damnation or living with a nagging spouse. Honestly, you will have to spell things out for me as I do not see any connection with sodomy and fountain pens. Can you please explain what I might be missing and how this would impact the lives of our young people? Many thanks to you, and I hope you are enjoying the Lord's Day. Sincerely, IsabellaOriginally posted by Dr Laurence Niles View PostWouldn’t you?!? Don’t you worry about Big Sodomy and it’s fraudulent grasp on this nation’s youth? Words have power you know.
