Re: Greetings in Jesus' Name!
Dear Brother Larry: Well, bless your big, blessed heart! I appreciate your kindly, neighborly sentiments very much. I'm pleased that I remind you of your dear great grandmother, Celestina, even though she isn't enjoying any celestial joy in her rather warm eternal home.
It's a good thing you left the Pentecostal service when you did. By 7.15, things are usually getting to the "ramped up" stage, and within another half hour, they would have brought out the snakes. After my father went to meet the Lord, I decided that I, too, should be on the "next 7.15" and that's when I sought out Baptist fellowship.
I admire your dedication, and being well-built and handsome is another blessing that Jesus has given to you! My, if I had my years back (I'm 84), but when I was but a young girl, I promised Jesus that if he would save me, then I would save myself for him, too. And it's been a mutual promise that will continue until I hear the trumpet and the voice of the angel calling me home. So there's no sense in trying to entice me; you'd be wasting your time with this librarian.
Thank you again, Brother Larry, and may God richly bless you and yours. I greatly appreciate your taking the time to post such a warm welcome.

I can read, you know.
Thanks for a lovely introduction. God has made Himself known through so many things and even if we can't see the building blocks themselves through what He has made His authority is plain.

However, as a
I am totally used to being unjustly persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12), so every new occurrence just reinforces what I already know - that I'm right and that the hellbound sinners who persecute me are, well, hellbound.
