Whatever gave you the notion that we disrespect Mary? The Bible tells us that she is blessed among women, so we agree with you on that point. Our problem is with Catholics and other idolaters who worship Mary instead of worshipping God. Catholics seem to pray to just about everyone but God. They don't ever bow down to Jesus--they only bow to idols of Jesus. This is proof number one that Catholics are not Christians. Catholics are disgusting!

that doesn't mean though that you should worship Mary or pray to her. no God hates that only worship and pray to God. but you should honor her as your spiritual mother.

That would appear to be Catholic doctrine, unsubstantiated by Scripture. Mary never claimed any spiritual authority - it is not for Man to give this to her.

The relevant passage is
Joh:2:1: And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

As far as a blood relationship to the Trinity is concerned, Mary has none... not a drop. She is entirely human.

God is described as Heavenly Father in a number of places. What about a "spiritual" mother? The parallel is not drawn.

Now depending on what you think "spiritual" means, and in this context Mary's status is a legal one.....

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law

.....it's safe to assume you're referring to something like The Spirit of the Law. In that case "spirit" is the impetus behind lawmakers' drafting a law in the first place. Sometimes a poorly written law is ambiguous and judges need to read what lawmakers said (at the time of its writing) to learn what they intended. Happily for us, God is never ambiguous and it was easy to see what The Bible says about spiritual mothers.

There is another concept to mention here. Latent energy. Applied to "spiritual mothers" the definition†

energy existing in a body by virtue of its position or state of existence, which is not being exerted at the time

could be applied to motivations unable to be expressed until human beings had been created. Sadly, despite God's explicit warnings, the impetus motivating Eve to throw His love back in God's face prevailed over her willingness to obey, evil entered the world and there we see out spiritual mother.

sorry to burst your bubble but children do not go to hell. the truth is unless you are a child or a child like person you are going to hell. adults go to hell. I don't like how so called Christians pick and choose their beliefs from the bible. but I trust Jesus. and he said you must be children or a child like person to go to heaven. I do not like how this website says nearly everyone is going to HELL including children. you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Jesus loves ALL the little children. and ADULTery is a sin. think about that. Mary is the mother of God and I don't like how you dishonor her. she is a divine woman. that is Jesus' mom for goodness sakes. Baptists act like they hate her. it is God's will for many to be saved. but unfortunately many people are very mean and evil. that is why you must be a child or childlike to inherent heaven. children are pure and innocent. I’m not going to apologize for following the whole KJV Bible from cover to cover in its entirety. As a matter of fact we are the only church that actually does as we are commanded by our Lord. Perhaps you need to get right with God and ask for forgiveness for your sin.
