    Finaly, a place that is sane! Praise!

    Hello Friends,

    My name is Dustin Smith.
    I am a 41 year old, Bible following Christian, and I am completely new to this forum.

    I have searched for a long time for a forum that makes sense to me, and my beliefs.

    I've been happily married for 17 years, and have three strong boys, being at the ages of 16, 12, and 7, and one on the way.

    I have many concerns about today's faith in our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST, and I am glad to have found a honest place to address said concerns.

    Welcome to God's favorite forum, friend. I hope you'll take a look around and get to know our church. THIS thread for new posters is a great place to start. I'd also like to point out that God cares deeply about using proper American spelling, grammar and punctuation, so please be careful about that.

    For example "finally" is spelled with two Ls.

    What church do you and your family attend? Please share some of your favorite Bible verses.

      Hello. I hope you enjoy being here and inputting opinions, provided that they are the right opinions aka God's opinions. If you do that you will go far here and will probably do well elsewhere too.
      I have no sig to put here. Just haven't thought about it yet and don't have an idea what to do. Got suggestions? PM me and let me know.

        Dustin, we have an errant member called Aguaws languishing in Quaratine until his recovery. He said he had a brother called Dustin... you're not related are you?

          Apologies, for that was a typo. I have recently obtained a new computer that has a completely different keyboard style than the one I am generally used to.

          And, I did have a brother, but he died most recently fighting for this Great Country in Iraq.

          Other than that, I am the only child.

          My family, and I, attend a private Baptist Church where we discuss some of the topics discussed on this forum. Some of the things that I would like to address are not allowed in my Church. Only about 10 other people, besides my family, attend the private prayer service we have every Sunday. My family and I , along with a few others, try to reach out to those who feel as strongly as we do about the more serious issues concerning today's faith in our Lord, JESUS.

          The reason I go to a private Church is that the open Baptist Church there allows gays, for the Pastors son is gay, and I absolutely hate that the Pastor would accept such a disgrace, especially in the House of the Lord.

          I have many favorite verses in our Bible, but my favorite one, the one that stands out the most to me, is the one I have in my signature.
