Read the entire post. As far as my salvation I know I am good. No it says i should do all I can to bring them Gods word and that Sir is what I am saying. And I have accepted Jesus Christ. As far as telling you what to do no Sir I have not. I was asked my opinion is there a difference in witnessing and proselytizing. I have in no way attacked you or landover! It was my understanding that this was a place to discuss The Lord. So far the only one who has not attacked me and welcomed me is Nobar. In fact he said I would see the difference once all the regulars came on. I have not yet seen it. I as far being smug, in what way? I am sure that we all where born into sin and none came out of the womb with all the knowledge of the bible correct. We are taught by our parents. Our preachers , and through the word.

Although God certainly did execute judgment in many places throughout history, it does not in any way diminish the fact that God loves all those people who were destroyed.

Okay, this is a big part that's a stumbling block for me mainly 'what does it matter if someone like God loves you if they've also destroyed you'? I pick loving people to be my friends even mentors and not angry people who would destroy me even if they said they loved me the proof is in their actions. So that concept doesn't make any sense to me

God sounds angry a lot in the Bible and it can be healthy to be angry but you also have to learn to get along with other people

Thank you for your kind words, Paul. You have to admit that your tone is rather condescending. I can understand why some might see that you are trying to tell them how to worship. No one likes to be told that they are worshiping wrong.

Try this concept. God has, is now, or will kill everything that has ever lived on earth, including you, your parents, all of your relatives, any family you may ever have and, finally, He will destroy the earth itself. So I'm not sure why I have to get along with anyone at all if GOD doesn't want me to. Killing sinners is a test and if I pass it I will get eternal Salvation(tm). Why would I choose to mess that up?

Why is it every time you talk about Salvation or being Saved, you put a trade mark symbol on the end? I am Saved and will tell the world! It is not trademarked............ for the Bible tells me so!

Of course friend Jesus loves us all. As the Bible says in the Song of Solomon He yearns to lie between our breasts. Like a good and loving parent Jesus punish us when we are wrong and we humans have been, very, very wrong.

No we will not perish if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. But there is quite a bit more to it than that. We must repent of our depravity, turn our lives over to Christ, sin no more, tithe to His church, vote Republican and do all the things the righteous do. Then we can join Jesus is His golden house in the sky for all eternity while the sinners burn like French fries.

Remember what Jesus said of the Old Testament:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Matthew 5:17-18

Not one jot of the Law should be ignored until Heaven and Earth pass? It seems clear enough to me.
