If you want to study the Bible, KJV1611 in its original language shouldn't you study English?

I want to study Biblical texts, which are different from the KJV or any other Bible that is published today. I think knowing the origins of those ideas and understanding the foundations of Christianity are just as important as the ideas themselves. I know everyone may not agree with that, but I don't see the problem in being able to read the words of the authors of the Bible, in a way, speaking the language of Jesus. I won't get to study Aramaic until graduate school, though.

I just don't see how the cucumber can prove anything about God. Surely there's something more?? I mean, I know I can feel Him in my heart, but isn't there something else in the physical world?

Let me go over my points again.

Cucumbers clearly lack a natural origin. Why I am arguing with a fellow Christian about this is beyond me. Tell me do you think we are just the fourth chimpanzee and not created in God's image too?

Cucumbers are clearly designed to be suitable for purulent acts that I will not describe in this Christian forum.

There is only one supernatural entity that tests man for purulent acts involving foreign objects in man's neithers; God of the Bible.

That's really cool! My major is *technically* Religious Studies, but I've concentrated in Christian Studies (obviously)! I also have a minor in Classical Language (Latin, Greek, Hebrew) because I want to be able to read the ancient Christian texts in their original language. I'm such a nerd.

I think what you study is ver neat, not nerdy at all. I actually love the fact that young people today are so interested in Christ. You don't see that alot anymore and I'm only 12 years older than you.

Well, it's more of a documentary, which makes it that much more uplifting because it's real!

Um, that camp was shut down less than a year after that film was made. I believe Haggard also admitted to buying a "massage" (with a happy ending?) and some meth-amphetamine from a male escort. Just FYI.

The camp closed because of negative publicity from God-hating atheists.

Ted Haggard didn't run the camp, he simply stopped in to give a talk and offer some of the boys the opportunity to learn about Manhood.

Anyway, I'm a senior in college. I'm from the GREAT state of Texas, but I go to school in Mississippi. I'm not very good at these sorts of things, so what else do you want to know?

Well you have two good things going for you. You are from Texas and go to school in Mississippi. Those are two of God's favorite states.
I'm curious though. Why didn't your parents home school you? Should you really be that far away all by yourself? Do you have a chaperon?
