OK, I'm new to this kind of topic, and no I'm not Christian, but at least tell the truth when you're going to say crap about people. I've been seeing a lot of lies about Wiccans and other religions. "Wicca is a neopagan, nature-based religion" - Wikipedia. Meaning, we respect all life, even plants and animals. Looking at the first thread, it says we worship satan. That is dead-wrong! We don't even believe in satan. You're even labeling other Christians (United Church of Christ?!) as worshippers of satan. Wicca still worships God, but we do in a different way. Wicca's considered polytheistic, believing in gods and goddesses. When we say that, we refer to the different aspects of God. That's technically what all polytheistic religions do from what I know. So, we honor each part of God, but as a whole too. That's the best I can explain it =] Religions sometimes refer to God as other names as well though too. The Creator, The Great Spirit, etc.. Each religion is a way for us to connect with The Creator, and go to "Heaven". We each have different ways of looking at it, or call it different names like "Summerland", but most look at it as a kind of paradise after death. Others may believe that after we die and go to that paradise, that we are re-born so we may learn life lessons. Because, do you honestly believe we do everything right in one lifetime? Although, that's our perspective and it doesn't mean either of us are exactly correct. We'll only know when we die. Another thing is that I saw that reiki practioners were on the list. *It's a practice, not a belief* Even Christians do it. Reiki is the use of "Universal Energy" (*cough cough* GOD'S ENERGY) to heal others. By saying that reiki practioners are satanists, you're only calling yourselves satanists because the energy used is directly from God, not us. The person only channels that energy. And, you don't even need to touch the person to do it, but some people just prefer to do it. And, I know that some of you will pervert this, so let me put it another way. Have you ever known a woman that was pregnant, and touched her stomach to feel the baby kicking? Then, if you call us creepy for putting our hands on someone's stomach, you're just as creepy. Whenever you put a band-aid on your kid's knee, you're just as perverted if that's what you call us, because aren't you just helping your kid heal faster? That's all reiki's about, HEALING!! As shown in the rules, "You warrant that you will not post any messages that are hateful." Saying you want someone dead just because they believe in God another way is sick. And why are dancing and surfing sins?! I totally agree with those that say you shouldn't impose anything sexual on others who don't want you to, but if it was with someone you truly loved and have known for so long, there is nothing wrong with that. Tattoos I think are bad. It actually damages your body, and sometimes can have horrible messages that would hurt others. Either way it's hurting someone* Why are homosexuals hated? Technically, it's genetic, and if God controls all of those factors and such, why is that bad? They get to love who they want, and I think that's what The Creator truly wants. So, I've covered as much as I can think of =] I know what Christians believe. That you only get one life, and you need to make the best of what you have. But, everyone has their choices, including atheists. What if there was an atheist who was nicer than a Christian? One who made better choices and did more for others than a Christian? Why shouldn't he still be allowed into "Heaven"? God loves all ALLLLL creatures, and if that's what you believed, isn't it still right to let that person be? I respect your decisions and your beliefs, but I'll never change my ways because I know what I'm doing is right. I know that by ridiculing others on this site, you're only making yourself the worse person here. And I know that even after saying all this, you probably still won't listen and be all "WHO CARES?! SHE'S A WITCH AND SHE'LL TRY TO CAST HEXES OR HURT US SO SHE SHOULD BURN!!" Well, if you've got that opinion, you're dead-wrong again. Wiccans don't use black magick, although some witches (the other non-wiccan kind) do. Those are the ones who already have karmic punishments if they use black magick. Wiccans do use witchcraft, but only for the greater good. Our saying "An' it harm none, do what ye will" prevents us from using it, unless you want to get in trouble ;] And how is the naked body a bad thing? Again we don't want to impose anything sexual on anybody else, but it's the natural body THE CREATOR GAVE US. In fact, I think that by even wearing clothes it's a kind of insult. So, stop being so stuck-up! Stop nagging about us, and if you really loved God, The Creator, you would stop talking down on his creatures, including those who have different ways in believing him!

I'm sorry, I was gonna try to read this, I really was, but it just looks like such a mess of words. Do you know what a paragraph is, John? They're very important, they keep your writing looking tidy and make it easier to read. You should really consider using them some time. Although, I do have to give you some credit, you seem to be much more literate (despite the lack of organisation in your post) than most of the Wiccans who come here. Have you found the Introduction Forum yet?

My point is that whether or not you're christian, we all have ways of worshipping God. And I've seen so much crap about wiccans and other religions that are plain out false. So, before you say anything bad about them, you should at least look up what they REALLY believe. Wouldn't it hurt you if I said the Bible was a bunch of lies? Why not worship GOD in GOD's way?

I don't get it. I don't find any mention of a "summerland" in my Bible. Why should I believe you?

I believe in God, love Him with all my heart, have no belief in satan therefore I am not a satanist, and respect everything he has given us. Sorry I don't mean hate as in hate, but don't even recognize them as a big part of our life. <=[ And yeah, I've never read anything in the Bible, because I know the basic beliefs of Christians, but I plain out disagree with them. I don't worship his creations, I thank him for it. What I mean is to respect what he has given us, and not to ignore everything we should do. We're not the only ones he's created. Animals, plants, rock, trees, etc. weren't made FOR us, rather than we live WITH them. The Bible has arguements on it, therefore obviously there is something wrong with it. I don't mean everything is wrong, but that to honor God in any way is the right way. Love and respect is all you ever need for him, which is what I do while respecting the choices of others on how they want to worship God
