It's rather straight forward if you read around the boards a little bit. They (the man) love their wives the way they best see fit. If the old bag (the wife) does not do the things the way her husband would like her to, he will simply pull out a verse of this sort:

1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

So god is telling the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them.. for they will turn away your heart after there gods. Meaning not Not the one true god. Son, not only do you need schooling on the Word of God, but Church History as well.

Baptists are of the "Free Church" philosophy, meaning there is no set hierarchy or binding body. Each church decides on its statement of faith and doctrinal body, some by the dictates of their consciences, and others, like Landover, by the Word of God (AV1611 King James Bible). If you knew as much as you think you do, you'd know right away that there is no "official church infrastructure."

Baptists have been known to cooperate in order to fund missions (those compromising Southern Baptists), charitable work, etc., but no real Baptist would subjugate his church to a governing body. So perhaps you should know a little bit more about your subject before you start spouting off.
