Hi, I know I'm new here and all, but I think you should cut her some slack. Its probably a cultural thing, like, you know? I had a hindu pen pal once and she wrote like that, I think its how they keep the accent thing when they're writing.

No offence but you're a little too cliche for my liking...

For starters, MCR is an emo band not a 'gothic' band, Marilyn Manson is shock rock and Evanescence is 'nu-goth'.

If you want to listen to 'real gothic music' and it's cousins I have several recommendations:

80s Goth: Bauhaus, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees

Deathrock: Cinema Strange, Tragic Black, Christian Death, Shadow Project

Gothic/ Symphonic Metal: Tristania, Theatre of Tragedy, Epica

EBM (Electronic Body Music): Covenant, Apoptygma Berzerk,

Industrial: KMFDM, Android Lust, Wumpscut

Darkwave: Clan of Xymox, Diary of Dreams, Clair Voyant, The Cruxshadows
