At first I laughed at this.. but the more I think about, I cannot disagree. Thank you for the point-of-view. It is a breath of fresh air.

Maybe I'm caught up in legalism.. trying to follow the pattern of the first century church too closely. That is, maybe I'm too focused on following the letter of scripture and not the spirit of it.

That has been obvious from your first post.

How often does your husband have to discipline you?
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

My thoughts exactly. An empty headed woman who shows signs of being bipolar. A firm husband is probably the only solution like Pastor Zeke states.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Legalism, that's the thing that Jesus came to fight against. When one wants to follow the LORD, following the law becomes an easy thing. You won't have to work to make sure that everything you do is right, it just will be.

How can one sin who is filled with the Holy Spirit?

If you have to work hard to follow the letter of the law, then do you really think you are filled with the Spirit?

When you fully give yourself to Christ, following the law comes naturally.

Have you actually read the passage in question? It explains exactly why Lot's daughters slept with him:
Genesis 19:31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

If you mean why Lot slept with his daughters, it's because he was too drunk to tell what was happening (both verses 33 and 35 tell us that "and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose".) You've mentioned that you get drunk a lot. Have you ever drunkenly fornicated with one of your children? Be honest.

O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Then he's obviously not a Christian man. That explains why you're so mouthy.

                    1 Timothy 2:11-15
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing.

                    1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands.
