So I'm 20, studying Social Sciences at college, and enjoy reading, watching movies, and listening to music. The reason why I joined this website is because I have become very interested in religion. I was never raised with religion in my life, but I have thought much about it and decided i would like to join a church, because i feel my life lacks spirituality. What does your church offer, what are your church's views on God, and what are your opinions/beliefs on social matters such as gays, abortion, rights etc?

Re: Hey
I will address your post even though 1) you are from Canada, and 2) you give no clue as to whether you are male or female. Just note that you gender may affect some of my answers!
We will try not to hold that against you.Originally posted by SeekingGod View PostSo I'm 20, studying Social Sciences at college,
Which movies, books and music do you listen to?and enjoy reading, watching movies, and listening to music.
You better be! You can only avoid the fires of Hell by coming to Christ! The reason why I joined this website is because I have become very interested in religion.
Spirituality is no reason to come to Christ! the Bible tells us that jesus Christ is the only path to salvation. Spirituality has nothing to do with it. believe and be saved! Glory!I was never raised with religion in my life, but I have thought much about it and decided i would like to join a church, because i feel my life lacks spirituality.
Salvation. Haven't you been paying attention? What does your church offer,
I don't understand the question.what are your church's views on God,
My opinions are dictated by the text of the King James Bible of 1611. Have you read the bible?and what are your opinions/beliefs on social matters such as gays, abortion, rights etc?Yours In Christ,

Re: Hey
Yes, I have started reading the Bible just recently, but I am nowhere near finishing it yet. Also, I enjoy reading books by C.S. Lewis(like The Screw Tape Letters), Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Neville Shute. I enjoy watching war movies(Saving Private Ryan being my favourite), and my favourite music is country, with Johnny Horton being one of my favorites.

Why do you hate Gods teachings and read that filth. Aldous Huxley was a drug addict and satanist. George Orwell is some sort of activists that teaches young people to rebel, what good is that ?
Good thing your interested in better things.

You seem earnest, and have better grammar than the usual unsaved trash that wander in here, but I'm afraid you may be just as lazy and filled with the same sense of entitlement as the rest of them.Originally posted by SeekingGod View PostSo I'm 20, studying Social Sciences at college, and enjoy reading, watching movies, and listening to music. As was mentioned by Brother Reproba, we follow the KJV 1611 here. Those are our views, as they are God's views. Anything not covered in the KJV 1611 can be found by reading the posts on this Godly board.what are your church's views on God, and what are your opinions/beliefs on social matters such as gays, abortion, rights etc?
Do not ask us to spoon feed you like some unsaved baby. If you really want to know about our church, start reading. All the information you claim to be seeking is just a click away.Professor of Creation Science and Flood Geology at Landover Baptist University
