You are mistaking Ireland for Britain, the 6 counties that fly the union jack, they are killing each other. The only killing of each other that occurs in Ireland is crime, something which is rife in your country, am i wrong in saying that ?

Oh yes Ireland is "Virtually" bankrupt, as opposed to every other country that is swimming in the money in this globally sound economic climate (Ex. Ireland)

Don't worry, the USA had trouble staying united and religious groups fighting each other about 150 years ago. I'm sure you'll mature to our current level someday.

For those of you unaware, the South of Ireland is populated by priests, nuns and men dressed in green suits with pigs under one arm, a copy of The Racing Times under the other and followed about the place by scruffy toothless crones and at least 14 shoeless kids.

When not proclaiming their cowardly neutrality, the Irish are fighting anything that moves and, in the absence of that, themselves. The major cause of death is alcohol poisoning.

The church of Rome rules the place with a fist of iron and genitals reserved for boys under 12. Despite 93% of the clergy being kiddy fiddlers, 100% of the population would never criticize one of them and will all turn up to eat the death cookie and titillate the priest with tales of their own bestiality. (Most of the nuns are mindless harridans descended from people thrown out of the Waffen-SS for cruelty.)

Instead of enjoying all the huge variety fruits and meats granted to them by (an overgenerous, if you ask me) God, they subsist on a diet of potatoes and Guinness, which does nothing for their brain cells of which they have the fewest in Europe. The only good thing is that both sources of subsistence occasionally run out and the population self-culls or emigrates.

The place itself is like Britain in 1600 but it rains more and it is not quite as civilized. The only way it might be Saved™ is through a revisiting by Cromwell.

Well, I wouldn't have put it quite so obscenely, but in general I'd have to agree with that statement. The rest of the world admires us too. We're God's favorite country!
