Introductions

Hello there,

My name is Richard and I'm currently living in England. I'm from Northern Ireland originally but moved to study to become a primary school teacher.

I was raised a non-subscribing presbyterian, then went through some agnostic years, then some atheist years and now I consider myself more of a liberal non-denominational christian. I'm a great believer in freedom of worship and each individuals right to worship as they interpret.

The problem I have with these forums are that they are mainly populated by either hardcore christians or hardcore atheists and I worry that individuals may be polarised to extremes - I look to represent the middle ground.

I'm curious as to what you mean by "hate?" I made no claim that the Landover Baptist church was in any way a wrong or bad way of worshiping God. I don't think that anything I said was specifically "hateful," but please if you have a problem with any portion of my post then please could you enlighten me as to what it is?

This is a forum for Landover Baptists. I believe that the members do not want evil non-believing dirty liberals coming in just to argue with God.
