Yes! Recycled products cost less, therefore, we, the consumers, will have more money to put into the economy. We would all be able to live a higher standard of living, and, not to say that the current financial crisis would have been avoided, but it would not be so bad. So i suppose the next question I have for you, Old Man, is do YOU understand economics? I pray that I phrased that simply enough for you,but something is telling me I did not.

You clearly do not understand American economics. First of all we do not have money, we borrow it. Second, the economy is like a pump. The more money you pump around, the better the economy is. So you have to make sure a dollar is not spend once but many times over. And you have to have extremely low taxes so you can pump more money around and around without the government stealing it. The faster products break down, the more you have to buy from them, the better it is for the economy. No. I am not suggesting it could have been averted at all. It is the fault of greedy CEOs and a dumb government.

But CEOs create jobs...like the new jobs you claim will make up for the lost jobs caused by recycling reducing the production workforce...wait. When you type it all out you sort of read like an idiot. Thats a bad idea you have about recycling helping.
