if they learn to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their one and only true savior, if they are stuck down at that moment, they will be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven for making the conscious decision.

That's true, but what if they aren't struck down at that moment? Do you know the difference between a true and false convert?

I mean, no, I do not devote every waking moment to Our Savior because I have a social life, and I have classes and a job to attend (scratch that, I was just fired today because our company was downsizing, and I am only a part-time employee due to my education), but i try to make time for The Lord whenever I have a second.

The LORD should come first. Remember, it's Thy will be done, not my will be done. If you trust God, you don't have to worry about your own needs, because you know God will take care of you.

Pay close attention to this passage from Matthew 6. This is Jesus talking.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

You don't need to think about what you will have to drink, eat, or wear, because life is more important.

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

God takes care of the birds, and you are more important than they are.

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

God takes care of the flowers, and you are more important than they are.

I think the problem started when you entered this thread "what's wrong with you people", which is a blatant attack on LBC, with your threat of "BIBLE FIGHT". If you really care about Jesus and want to discuss your spirituality maturely with other MEN, then you might try a new tactic.

HOOOLLLYYYY scripture buddy... I'm sorry but I will not real all of that. I am getting the idea that I am at least on the right track, but I need to disregard all my friends and family and alcohol and everything that is important to me and become 100% devoted to the Lord. I am not quite sure that I can lose my friends just like that because I want to hope that God is real and I may have Lucifer's thorny tallywhacker put in my rectum. However, if i do not believe in a heaven, why should i fear hell? Let alone a bunch of old, lonely, pedophile, rednecks, and crazy old ladies who give infractions for posting my IQ results when they were requested?

Do you know what time it is? Please don't insult us, just because you thought billiards is more important than your eternal life. Second we're not catlicks who expect you to confess your sins and then tell you to repeat a bunch of prayers, all you have to do are things you can do by yourself: stop sinning, accept Jesus as your savior, ask Him for forgiveness of your sins, study the King James 1611 Bible, and get baptized.

i am baptized in the roman catholic church and i have read KJV quite a few times. its more of a question to me as to whether there is a God or not, that seems to be the undying question in every religious debate i have taken part in, and i have heard nothing convincing from either side

Friend, I want nothing more than for you to become Saved(r). I think it's the booze talking when you make idiotic remarks on this board, so I won't hold it against you. I am glad that you have made the first step in admitting you are a sinner. You must realize without Christ, you are a worthless, pathetic insect, not even human.

Yet, you can change that. The blood of Jesus Christ can wash all your sins away and you will be granted the keys to the Kingdom of God. Isn't that wonderful? To know such a treasure can be given to you just by your own choice? I want you to say this prayer, right now, out loud, and with full honesty and humility. Are you ready?
