I was born and raised in Ireland as a Catholic but soon realised that I was been lied to and turned my back on that 'religion'.

To date my atheism has become deep-rooted as I myself become more angry with the lies religion spread. Lets face it, they can't all be right so the vast majority of them must be lying!

But it would be stupid not to at least explore what's out there prior to giving up on religion altogether, if my eternal life hangs in the balance.

I have recently taken instruction from a muslim teacher but have dismissed that as third world hogwash.

My partner is hindu, but I suspect she makes up half the stuff she comes out with because I truely believe that no serious religion can be that daft! Blue elephant gods?!!? I think she may have been having a joke at my expense.

So next in my long search is with America's largest church, so with your premission, I would like to read your teachings here on your forums and ask the occasional question.

This would appear at first glance to be in conflict with the commandment to honour your father and mother. I suspect your are testing me so I shall study this some more.

No, I never subscribed to the actions or ideals of the IRA but thankfully that unpleasentness is history.

Incidently though, the IRA mostly got their funding from the USA through an organisation called Noraid.

Is it possible America through Noraid was trying to annex Ireland in trade for an Islamic Scotland. Why would Americans want an Islamic Scotland?

The Muslims have already pretty much taken over England (except for Wales) so why not Scotland next?

If you want Ireland to become part of America, you have to let the Protestants take charge. We already have Massachusetts as an Irish Catholic state and look how it turned out.

Not meant to hurt you, OhLordy. Some of my best friends are Irish. I agree with you that the UK, the land that produced the KJV(1611), has degenerated into the land that harbors Jihadist bombers.
