    The Lord God's Vengeance

    Praise be to you all!
My name is Godfrey and I would like to introduce myself. I live in the UK but I feel I have found like-minded people here on this forum

Can I get the ball rolling as it were by posing something of a difficult question.

"Is the earthquake in Haiti God's vengeance against those ungodly people?"

Surely they are indulging in base lifestyles that is anathema to the Lord's teaching!
I truly feel that this may be the reason. I have discused it with my minister but he is in disagreement with me.
    Any thoughts?
    Bless you all.

What is your favorite Bible verse, son?
KJV Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Yes. There are a few threads on it, use the search button, "Seek and Ye shall find."

        Re: The Lord God's Vengeance

        Hello Peter.
Wel, is it wrong for me to admit that my favourie verse changes frequently ?
Usually depending on how I feel or what situation I'm in.
It's not like I don't have an overwhelming amount of great teachings to choose from

At the moment I have to say

Behold, GOD is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.
        Isaiah 12:2

I think that says it all

Hi Binky, can I call you Binky? You are a terrific Guy.

Just wanted to pop in and give you a big Hi-De-Ho to you, Binky!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
