Time for my intro

Greetings all!

My name is T. I am from the NW and I am a college student. I am an advocate for safe and consensual sex. I am in an inter-religious relationship with a man about my age, and I love him unconditionally.

I am on this forum to better understand the views of the others in the threads.
Forgive me if I offend, I am just appalled by some of the things people say.

You can hate me for who I am and what I believe.

My name was originally "CatholicandDamnProud" but my 1st amendment right was violated and people running the site changed it to "CatholicandDamned".

That is ok with me. If a God hates me for having pleasures, and practicing a religion of acceptance and contextual bible reading, then I'd rather be damned from that God and visit my own one day.

You say you're in college? You might want to re-familiarize yourself with the first amendment. It's the most important one, that's why it's the first amendment.

I wrote and said what I wanted, and it pertained to my religion.

Girlie, I know this stuff may be way over that little noggin of yours (that was designed by God to have just and only just the mental facilities needed for giving birth and making pies), but when you waltz onto the Godly Forums of a privately-funded church, your hate speech is no longer protected by the 1st Amendment.

From what I have seen so far I highly doubt that. You don't even respond to the replies to your own postings. You only seem to be interested in your own stories.

You Catholics are all the same. Claim your religion takes scripture as the word of God, yet you reject passages and constantly change your rules to fit in with modern society. God's word is God's word; you can't change it, you must accept it or be damned. So you say that you're appalled from what we say, you're contradicting your own religion. Every single belief we hold is straight from scripture; we don't change it around to suite ourselves like you.

And you say "you can hate me for what I believe." Stop making YOURSELF seem like the victim. You're here on our forum attempting to instigate yet another heated debate, you're the one persecuting us. And ultimately, it's irrelevant whether or not WE hate you, what matters is what GOD thinks. And seeing as how you reject his true scripture, you aren't on very good terms now are you?

How about a civics lesson for the haters of America?

This is the text of the first amendment to the constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Where does it say that Landover Baptist Church is required to post any and all words that you are able to type on your father's computer? Do you know what a forum moderator is? And yes, of course I am unsure in my beliefs. You can not be sure about religion because there can not be proof. Therefore I enjoy not knowing if what I believe is completely true. It is mine.

We are not. We know God exists. We know the Holy Bible is the word of God.

Stop making excuses and start debating. If you are so sure you know better than us, convince us please. Quote scripture, give arguments, beat us down with your superior logic. Stop playing your favorite victim role and start behaving like a woman instead of like a child.
