Definition of Baptism:

Baptists are a very closed minded group of religious zealots
that give virtually no respect to those that disagree with their beliefs. Basically the Christian equivalent of a muslim terrorist, the members of this faith, especially of more fundamental sects, boycott the expansion of human knowledge when not in relation to religious beliefs. They take the bible literally to an extreme extent, and destroy the once good name that Christianity held. They justify themselves by claiming to be the only true followers of Christ. They favor extreme faith over logic, and border insanity.

Many Baptists throughout time can be seen committing violent acts, such as the Westboro Baptists, in relation to the boycott of American soldier funerals, and the extreme persecution and hatred of homosexuals, and Jews; basically everyone whos not a hard-core Baptist.

From a Baptists eyes: "If that boy ain't of Baptist faith I don't want him anywhere near my home"

From normal eyes: "I support the expansion of the human mind and of science and all that is logic."

To be perfectly honest, much of that definition is spot-on. The only difference is how you and we value that.

Yes, and quite proud. The Bible is the only path to follow, so there's no reason to be "open-minded" to any evil ideologies and theories to lead you astray.

Um, how are we equivalent to terrorists? How many planes have been hijacked by Baptists? How many car bombs have been set off by us? Can you show us where we have training camps where we turn kids into suicide bombers? Where is the equivalency?

For the most part true, but we're not destroying the good name of Christianity but upholding it. It's the papists and Lutherans and Mormons that are destroying Christianity. We are the only true followers of Christ, that is a no brainer. And yes, faith is more important than logic because you need faith to get into Heaven, not logic!

Since when is picketing a funeral a "violent" act? Not that we totally agree with Westboro. They are far too liberal for our tastes and Jesus's.

Agreed. How is following the Bible destroying Christianity? And why are we the ones who are like terrorists, when we go for more of the preach-the-KJV1611 approach, as opposed to cat-licks and their torture methods? Besides, you would probably not accept our definition of atheists, so why take an atheist definition of us?

As for your being here, this is not a debate forum, and is for Chrisitans only, no unsaved allowed. But it seems all you have given us as an introduction is a definition of Baptists. Tell us; what is your opinion of God? Are you actually here to be saved, or are you a God-mocker?

A protest is a violent act in your mind? So I presume you agree with the Birmingham PD that Dr King and the Civil Rights protesters were vioant thugs who deserved to have fire hoses on police dogs turned on them for their passive resistance protests? The word "violence" is just like the word "Nazi" is to some people, a label you slap on anyone who don't agree with.
