    Hallo

    Hi
I'm new in the forum and was pleased to write a article about myself
First: I'm German so i will not write english perfectly but I will try ^^

I live in Berlin and still attend school. I joined church with my confirmation 3 years ago.
Sth about my interpretation of the Bible: I think that the most important sentence is "Love your neighbors like yourself"
Jesus said the sentence in his story about the good Samaritan. You should know that at the time Jesus lived, Samaritans were not accepted in society and outsiders.
So I think Jesus wanted to say love everyone, even if he is different. And everyone does not means everyone who is not gay, black, poor, ..... Everyone means really everyone
Even Jesus accepted whores, tollkeepers and sick people, which are kinds of people you would usually exclude. So why should we behave different then Jesus did? And I believe that Jesus would rather forgive people than damn them.
Out of that I think that everything someone does, has a reason, which means that he/she is never able to behave different at that time in that situation. Thats why my user name is Schopenhauer, he was the first philosopher who thought that way.

I think that science does not exclude the believe in Jesus and God. The bible itself was at the time it was written (by human beings) more a kind of law and ethic base onto which society can work. So you should not believe every word, but look behind the words. The ten Commandments are a kind of law you should not break because God is watching. The other storys are mostly in the old testament to show how great God is, but are more like legends or rumours (because no evidence). For the people of that time it was such a great demonstration of power that it made them stick to our God than to others. So the old testament was more functional for the society at that time than a collection of thruth stories.
The new Testament is more important, because we believe in Jesus and Jesus refused some old jewish traditions like the sabbath think. Because of that I think if Jesus was a christian today, he would ignore all these stories and only say: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
He said that in the bible and in everything he does in the bible you can recognize the sentence.
So if you live after that sentence, you can believe in evolution and science AND God.

Thats it, if you have questions, ask and I will try to answer^^
There is only one rule in Christianity you have to follow:

Deuteronomy 13:6"If your brother, your mother's son, or your son or daughter, or the wife you cherish, or your friend who is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods' (whom neither you nor your fathers have known,

7of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end),

8you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him.

9"But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

10"So you shall stone him to death because he has sought to seduce you from the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

2 Corinthians 6: 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.

17Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.

I cannot comment on all of your post - there are simply too many errors. I assume you are a servant of the anti-Christ, the vicar of Rome, so you will never have read The holy Bible KJV1611, or even your German translation.

So, let's get on with the mistakes you have made so far so that you come to know God and learn to Fear and obey Him, so that you may, some day, enter the kingdom of Heaven.

    "Love your neighbors like yourself"
Who is your neighbor? Is he the man next door, but not someone who lives in a foreign country? No. So “Who is he?”

A neighbor is a person who believes in every Word of The Bible:

Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

So if someone does not believe you when you tell them about God, they are not your neighbor.

What about those who are Muslim, or Hindu, or Buddhist?

Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

So people of other religions are not our neighbors

    And what about

Lu:19:27: But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

So these people are not our neighbors – can you think of some religions that do not accept Christ?

Jesus said the sentence in his story about the good Samaritan. You should know that at the time Jesus lived, Samaritans were not accepted in society and outsiders.
Many people take only half the message of the parable of The Good Samaritan. The other half is that Jesus knew that there were races of people who were simply worthless, lying, bastards who could not be trusted to do anything. Why else did He choose the Samaritans. You yourself say that all Samaritans are worthless, but that is after the story – Jesus knew what they were like before the story.

Can you think of any races today who are worthless, lying, bastards? Are they our neighbors? No.

OK, I’ll leave you to think about that and think about leaving the Catholic Church, as soon as you can, otherwise you will never see Jesus and will rot in Hell for ever.

What is a vicar of Rome? Couldnt find a translation which makes sense

      Matthew 10:14
That part does not mean: Damn all non-believers
It includes love your neighbor like yourself, too
Imagine therre are a group of muslims in your hotel and all day and all night say try to convince you to becom muslim what would you feel?
You would be angry and anoid, you would feel molested and you would wish, that these people go away right?
So Jesus say, if the peole doesn't want to hear you, go elsewhere, try again and never give up

      Luke 4:8
Jesus recipes the old Testament to win the argument against Satan.
You know my opinion about the old one

      Lu:19:27

Jesus doesn't want to slay them, Jesus tells a story about a king who wants that.

there are simply too many errors

Does that mean there are too many orthographic and grammar mistakes or does that only mean that I said too many things which you disagree?

Not the KJV1611 but I read the luther translation, because in german, confirmation means joining the evangelic church and comunion means joinig the catholic
church. If it has not the same meaning in english, I have to keep that in mind

”The vicar of Rome” is the pope – a word that does not appear in the Bible. The pope is the anti-Christ.
            Matthew 10:14

            Rubbish!

11Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt oder einen Markt geht, da erkundigt euch, ob jemand darin sei, der es wert ist; und bei demselben bleibet, bis ihr von dannen zieht.
            12Wo ihr aber in ein Haus geht, so grüßt es;
Imagine therre are a group of muslims in your hotel and all day and all night say try to convince you to becom muslim what would you feel? You would be angry and anoid, you would feel molested and you would wish, that these people go away right?
The difference is, they would be telling me to follow a false god – I would tell them to follow the One True God.
So Jesus say, if the peole doesn't want to hear you, go elsewhere, try again and never give up
Ha! Is that why Jesus says, 15Wahrlich ich sage euch: Dem Lande der Sodomer und Gomorrer wird es erträglicher gehen am Jüngsten Gericht denn solcher Stadt.
            Are they our „neighbors“?
Luke 4:8 Jesus recipes the old Testament to win the argument against Satan. You know my opinion about the old one
What are you saying? The Old Testament is still God’s Word – it is unchanged.

So all members of other religions are not our “neighbors”
            Lu:19:27
Jesus doesn't want to slay them, Jesus tells a story about a king who wants that.
No – Jesus wants us to kill non-believers! It is simple - You and I know that the story is a parable. In the story, the King is God.

Deuteronomy 5:1-22 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2 Chronicles 15:13 Whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman
13und wer nicht würde den HERRN, den Gott Israels, suchen, sollte sterben, klein oder groß, Mann oder Weib.
Does that mean there are too many orthographic and grammar mistakes or does that only mean that I said too many things which you disagree?
Your English is good for a foreigner – it is simply that you know nothing about God.

Lutheran – Catholic – you are all the same, false Christians. You do not follow God’s Word.

Schopenhauer - Do you fancy yourself some sort of a 'catch-phrase' philosopher or is that unfortunately your real name?

I have to wonder why you use that particular combination of letters in your avatar. They are not at all flattering in American, do you realize that?

You say you joined a Church, I hope it was a Baptist Church that rigidly follows the KJV1611 Bible. Tell me, is there any part of the Bible you think God's Children(c) should not follow? Is there any part that on the surface does not make sense but with some analysis can be made to be more to your liking?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hold up there, kid! Jesus DID believe in the Old Testament, all of it, and He believed it was all literally true!

Jesus believed that Noah's flood actually happened. Matthew 24:37

"But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female."
Jesus believed that sex and Adam and Eve were created "from the beginning." He DOESN'T say the universe is about 13.6 billion years old, the earth 4.6 billion, sex a billion years or so, and humans for a couple million years. Mark 10:6

In Luke 3:23-31 it records Jesus' family history all the way back to Adam. This would be impossible if the Old Testament was not true, or that Adam and Eve was only a metaphorical story that did not happen 6000 years ago.

Jesus believed the story of Noah's ark. Luke 17:26-27

Jesus also believes the story about Sodom's destruction. He says, "even thus shall it be in the day the son of man is revealed." This tells us about Jesus' knowledge of science and history. Luke 17:29-32

                  and I like the philosopher

What do you mean with not flattering? Which meaning do you have for Schopenhauer?

Well, you aren't supposed to interpret the Bible (2 Peter 1:
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.)

So you should have found out what "shake of the dust" meant in Jesus' time.

And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.

"10:14 Shake off the dust from your feet - The Jews thought the land of Israel so peculiarly holy, that when they came home from any heathen country, they stopped at the borders and shook or wiped off the dust of it from their feet, that the holy land might not be polluted with it. Therefore the action here enjoined was a lively intimation, that those Jews who had rejected the Gospel were holy no longer, but were on a level with heathens and idolaters."

                    "
shake off the dust of your feet-"for a testimony against them," as Mark and Luke add (Mr 6:11; Lu 10:11). By this symbolical action they vividly shook themselves from all connection with such, and all responsibility for the guilt of rejecting them and their message. Such symbolical actions were common in ancient times, even among others than the Jews, as strikingly appears in Pilate (Mt 27:24). And even to this day it prevails in the East."

Its like when you use science to proof that science is rubbish
So you DO think you are better than Jesus?
@Heathen_Basher: Thanks for the english lesson

It sounds like the English terms for feces.

Have you any verse in the Bible that says we should befriend the worshippers of false gods? I tell you now, there is not one.

You're not a Christian are you? You have just chosen some verses from the Bible that you think you like. You treat the Bible like a Lego set - you build yourself a god from the pieces you like, and then worship it!

which word for excrements can you see in Schopenhauer?

So you think God is a racist, intollerant and hates all people who doesn't like you? (which means almost the whole mankind)
Because thats the way you discribe God

                          Re: Hallo

                          Dear Godmocking Foreigner;

This church is a KING JAMES ONLY church. The reasons why are explained HERE.

The verse you meant to post in your blasphemous signature goes like this:

                          Deuteronomy 13:6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
                          13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
13:8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
13:9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
13:10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
13:12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
                          13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
                          13:14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
13:15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
13:16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
                          13:17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
Kindly replace the blasphemous version in your signature with the correct one, NOW.

In addition, the unsaved commentary at the beginning of your signature is a satanic lie. It is not true by any stretch of the imagination that "There is only one rule in Christianity you have to follow." If you had bothered to study the Holy Bible as I have, you would know that God has us under all manner of laws and rules.

Don't come into our forum spouting lies.
                          Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

This 'person' is a false Christian.

He is not who he tries to make himself appear to be. Lies and deceit.
He thinks he is a clever person when in fact is merely a child who read a single book. Unfortunately, that book was not the KJV Bible. He is a pseudo intellectual whose dream of insight crumbles with passing wind.

I know it is not my place to tell you what is and isn't and I will not. But wasn't the Old Testament written after Jesus died and therefor it contained his words and others about him?
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
