Hello all, my name is Evan, and I was baptized Catholic. My family moved around from church to church, trying to find a good fit, until eventually we now barely go to church at all. I made a post here earlier in the Proof God is REAL thread, but was summarily shot down for it. I would like to apologize if I've offended anybody, but while i believe in God, my religious beliefs have been strained for a long time. I've been going through changes in my system of beliefs, trying to figure out exactly what I should do. I suppose my tone was less than impressive, but the post was meant to be taken as good-spirited conversation, not the ugly bashing it was apparently taken for. I was simply looking for a community of people to talk about my beliefs with, and this seemed like a good place full of devout followers who knew what they were talking about. In all honest,y the 'disciples vs. apostles' conundrum shocked me, and I apologize again for my animosity.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

I believe that's what I did Pastor. I have no intention of flaming, but rather discussion, perhaps to find salvation if it comes to that. I do believe in God, but I have never understood why God and Evolution couldn't co-exist, why it couldn't be that God created man through evolution. These are the types of questions I struggle with, and was hoping to talk about.Comment
