    Hey. I made it!

    Hello. My name is Amara.
I'm the girl that Giacomo said was having the problems logging in even though my account was activated. I decided to just create a new e-mail address and use a different name to see if that would work, which it obviously did.

I'm really not that good at introductions, so I'll just let you guys ask me questions.

    Welcome to "God's favourite Forum".

Tell me, what is your favourite Biblical Passage?
What version of The Bible do you read?

I haven't read the Bible since I was a little girl, and I don't really think it was the same version that you read (it might have been, but I honestly can't remember).
I have, however, found an online version (thanks to this website) and even though I just started reading Genesis, my favorite verse (so far) is this one:
Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

I am American and very proud of it!
If you are just considering skin tone, then yes I am white (although, if you look into my ancestry, you'll find that I have Native American ancestors).
I've never been a very political person. I'm about to reach legal voting age, so I guess that will have to change. However, I will not pick someone based on their political party, but based on their political views and their promises for the American society. If they happen to be republican, then I will vote for them. If not, then I'm sorry, I have to go with what I believe is the right choice.
At the moment, I'm going through some "sexual confusion." To put it simply, I don't know whether I'm gay, straight, bi, or just losing my mind! I'm hoping to get all of that figured out soon.

If any of this offends you, I'm sorry, but I'm just being honest.

I'm glad to see you consider sodomy to be a mental illness. So tell us, what brings you here? Are you looking to convert to the One True Faith, or has Satan ordered you to go persecute some Christians?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Well, I don't necessarily believe that homosexuality is a mental illness, but I may just go insane trying to figure out whether or not I'm a homosexual. In today's society and for a person of my age, it can get very confusing.

I am not here to persecute anybody, I'm just learning about different religions and if I feel that I can truely be apart of this one, then I will convert. If not, then I hope you will understand and that we can still be friends.

So do you believe that it's caused by demon possession, or a deliberate attempt to enrage Jesus?

Your answer is so vague you should BE a politician. I'll ask you some issue related questions to find out what you mean by "political views and their promises for the American society":

The Draft: A vital step in our glorious Crusades, or do you hate America?

Health Care: American Healh care is the best, thank the LORD we don't live under a socialist serfdom system like that suffered by Canadians, Europeans, and Japs, or Stalin is your hero?

Global Warming: true, or just more nonsense the scientists invented at a star trek convention?

3rd world people: lazy diseased bums who are only good for bombing practise, or do you hate America?

Campaign finance: Rich people worked hard so we deserve extra votes, or are you a card-carrying member of Al-Queda?

By the way, I'm already worried by your use of the word "society". It's only a few letters short of "socialism". As Margaret Thatcher said, "There is no society" only individuals acting, under the invisible hand of Jesus, for the pursuit of happiness (which means having more stuff than other people, of course).

At the moment, I'm going through some "sexual confusion." To put it simply, I don't know whether I'm gay, straight, bi, or just losing my mind! I'm hoping to get all of that figured out soon.
I hear you loud and clear: you've got a dog who greets you by sniffing and licking you in an innapropriate place, right? Don't worry, the blood of the lamb will wash you clean. Though the dog has to be put to death, of course.

I think I've been too harsh to you: reading past chapter 9 of Genesis sets you above 90% of the self-proclaimed "Christians" out there.

Also, a good choice of verse, it's a very good summing up of my favorite part, Genesis 4:15

                      Dear friend:

To those who have God's Truth as revealed in Scripture, there's nothing confusing about it. Romans 1:18-27 says,

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Now, I suggest that you search your conscience to see which signs of God's existence you have willfully ignored, and which idols you have worshiped instead, to provoke God to turn you into a queer. Be honest, since you can't fool Jesus.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

If you saw a person beating his head against a brick wall for no reason, what would you think of the sanity of that person? Even if he wasn't a muslim, you'd know something wasn't quite right. The same goes for any masochist -- if they're not normal, they're insane. Now any sane person can tell you that inserting a tallywhacker into the exit chute is just not normal. That's not what it was intended for! Sodomy is an unnatural act, I think you'll agree. The hole was not meant for the plug, if you get my drift... I've done many hours of research, so as to understand this, and I can assure you that it is entirely unnatural! Even monkeys, who you consider to be all-knowing, know this

I agree with you friend. In today's day and age, it is a challenge to avoid all appearances of homosexuality. Why just 10 years ago a man could turn on the TV and expect to see some manly boxing or shooting and now we have only to see simpering limp-wrists dressing up totally straight men like faggits. It's sickening. Just stay close to Jesus, and resist all temptations (especially self-abuse). If you need help with this, I am certain that you can find a pastor here that is willing to lay on hands to help you with your lust.

If you're not here to convert, then you're here to persecute us. All of your annoying questions and "logical arguments" are just code-words for beating around the bush to try to avoid having to accept responsibility to God for your actions. He died (temporarily) for you, and this is how you repay Him, by desperately searching for any way out of His Free Gift*? How selfish!

*Free gift only valid if your tithing status is Tin Level or above, you give all of your life over to Jesus (via Landover Baptist LLC) and immediately stop asking annoying questions and accept the Bible as True in its entirety.

I am not here to persecute anybody, I'm just learning about different religions and if I feel that I can truely be apart of this one, then I will convert. If not, then I hope you will understand and that we can still be friends.
Hello Amara, and welcome to the forum. I'm glad you were finally able to resolve your problems signing into the board.

If there is one thing I agree with the True Christians here 100%, it is on the issue of homosexuality.

I can't stand to see gayness happening all around us; sissy boy-boy couples grabbing each other's backsides in full public view repulses me; lesbo lovers holding hands on the street and feeling each other up under the tables in the coffee shops in my town revolts me.

I don't believe people are born gay, or are compelled to be gay because of their hormones, or that it's natural to be gay. I don't believe in gay marriage or gay rights. They can keep their gayness to themselves in their own bedrooms, that's the way I see it.

In the town where I live it is not politically correct to put down gays, it's considered a no-no. Well I say poo to that. On this forum I'd like to tell it like I really see it. Things have gone too far! It's a disgrace!

I think there is a certain inclination in some young pubescent teens to identify with the same sex temporarily, but to experiment or act on any such impulses is just plain wrong; and to choose a same-sex partner and a gay lifestyle is the road to ruination.

I don't see it as a mental illness, I just see it as just plain unnatural, and from the religious point of view it's unscriptural, a sin and an abomnation to God.

Please assure us that you aren't going to make the mistake of going down the road to gayness. You can chose normal heterosexuality before it's too late. Forget the bi-crap also. If you're a female, then get a healthy interest in good clean wholesome American boys.

About the second part of your post: are you saying you are shopping around for a religion? I don't really think that's the way to become a believer in anything. Either you believe and know God, or you don't. I hope you will get the support you need here from our Godly True Christian pastors.

(PS ... I'm not one of them ... I'm an episcopal church minister ... considered by our pastors to be a false-christian church)

Of course I believe in GOD and JESUS CHRIST. I just wasn't raised in one specific type of church because my parents believe that all you really need is a strong belief in God, a belief in Jesus and that he was the son of God, a belief in the Bible, and that faith can heal anything without having to commit yourself to one specific church.

No. I've just seen some of the videos on tv (mainly MTV) with girls shaking their bottoms and stripping down to almost nothing and I just get this weird feeling. I don't know if I'm getting "turned-on" by this or if I'm getting flat-out sick of it.
