    My Introduction.

    Hello.

I am a 35 year old Chemistry/Algebra teacher, I have been teaching for 10 years now, I attend The First Baptist Church, have been a part of it for about 3 or 4 years now, before that I had lost my faith when I was in my early 20s, but have since then returned to the church. I have been married to my beautiful wife for a year now, she is the process of getting her teaching credentials so she can teach English. She's a bit younger than me, but a wonderful woman, whom I am blessed to have in my life.

I come from a very family-orientated and religious family. My family has always been very close, my mother and my wife spend a lot of time together, she's been teaching her how to sew lately, since she asked her if she'd teach her.

Alright I am going on about things that really don't matter now.

If you you wish to know anything else about me, feel free to ask.

    -God Bless.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. I assume that you teach Creationist Chemistry, and that you use THIS Biblical Periodic Table of The Elements.

Which First Baptist Church do you attend? There must be a million of them. Are you with the SBC?

        What's your wife's best pie?
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I'm just hoping it ain't one of those socialist public schools. If it were up to me, I would get rid of the lot of them.

            Re: My Introduction.

I use the basic Periodic table. I enjoy teaching, even if it's something I don't 100% agree with, but it is my job. I want to go back to school, get my masters in teaching and then work at a University teaching teaching skills to new teachers, that is what I have wanted to do since I started teaching.

I attend the one in Dallas, Texas. You can find it here. http://www.firstdallas.org/

Hm. Best pie... That's a tough one. I'd have to say apple. As I have always loved apple pie.

Unfortunately, but I've been working here since before I was saved and accepted Jesus into my life.

@Billy : I don't own a gun. The wife does not like them, and I never learned to shoot. My mother is the same way, she did't approve of my father owning them either.

@Jocelyn: That is good to hear!

I don't know what's stopping you from moving to a nice Baptist Academy. I sure am sorry to hear about you not owning any firearms and about your wife wearing the pants in your family.

She doesn't wear the pants in our marriage. She just had a bad experience with an ex-boyfriend who had guns, and that I respect.

So your wife was a fornicator before marriage. That's a shame.

Let me explain that a little more,

She was in her early teens and started dating this guy. It went alright for a few months, then he started getting violent with her, controlling, wouldn't let her do things/talk to people without him knowing. He would hit her, threatened her life. It was a mess.

It took a lot of healing to get her to where she is today, but she has come a long way. She's a different woman from the girl I met.
