It took a lot of healing to get her to where she is today, but she has come a long way. She's a different woman from the girl I met.
She was "dating" some guy without her parent's supervision? If her father had been more involved, it wouldn't have ever come to that.

I'm a bit suspicious of the nature of their relationship. Sounds to me like she sold you a bill of goods.

Her father hasn't been in her life, he wasn't around when was growing up.

We all make stupid decisions, and thus I don't hold that against her, as I've said, she's changed a lot since she's been with me.

Oh... Is she a bastard? De:23:2: A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

I suppose she'll be OK for you as a concubine until a Christian woman comes along.

No, her parents were married when she was conceived, just her father took off when she was 3.

I have been reading this thread, it sounds like you are not properly disciplining her. I have to ask when was the last time you paddled the little ladies backside? It will do the both of you good, you can regain the role of husband and she will realize her place is in the kitchen. Go paddle her back side then go buy a gun, for goodness sakes man grow a pair.

I am not sure. I have never met her mother, as she's fallen away from Jesus. She's into drugs and things like that, things I am glad I got my wife away from.

I do not hit my wife. We are equals, we do everything together. (Example: She'll cook, I'll help her with the dishes, she dries them) I enjoy helping her. Especially now that she's pregnant, I don't want too much stress on her and end up losing our child, as this is our first.

In 22 years of marriage I have never washed a dish, made a bed or cooked a meal. Never have I cleaned a toilet or changed a soiled diaper. That is woman's work. My wife has never lost a child nor has she ever complained, well not after the first two black eyes. You wife wants a husband not a damn butler!

But you let your wife work I see. What does your pastor say about that?

Personally, I don't know how any Christian man could hold his head up in public if his wife was out working...

                            I am seriously disturbed by you're not owning a gun. I have several: a .357, and two 30 06's.

And if your wife isn't working clearly the lord is not blessing you enough with hard cold cash. After all, having tremendous financial wealth in this world shows how blessed you will be in the next world.

Shut your yap and listen, we are telling you what to do. Take control of your marriage before it is too late. Grow a pair man. Stay out of the kitchen period. No more of that washing dishes. Show your woman that YOU are the head of the house.
