    Greetings All

Peace be upon you all, noble ones.

I am pleased to introduce my self. I am Ishina.

I am looking to join a community and I did hope that Landover Baptist Church would be a nice place for me. I hope perhaps to make some friends here, if you would have me. I am very glad to discover a place that loves the Christ, peace be upon him.

I am currently living in UK where I study English language. I hope to travel more after my studies and perhaps visit USA. I would very much like to see the great land of the free for my self one day, if God wills it.

I hope you will have patience with me, and I would value any knowledge you would tell me. I will be happy to answer questions from you all.

Yours, strong, and faithful in God,

    ~ Ishina

Welcom Ishina. Are you a boy Ishina or a girl Ishina? All I can find at the moment for that name is a Dot-head take-away restaurant in Canukistan. Which Baptist church do you presently attend and what is your favorite Bible verse?

      Re: Greetings All

      Hello Sir,

I am a woman. I have not been baptised as an adult and I struggle to find a Church here. But God has made a path for me and I believe he will lead me right.

My favorite Bible verses are the Psalms which give me great strength. I especially like Psalm number 51

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

      Amen.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Dear, O dear! I ask for a verse and I receive a sermon! Ishnia, I fear you may be in danger of falling foul of

Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

As you are a woman, I do not expect you to understand these things but I'm sure your husband will inform you about them. You do have his permission to be here? He is supervising you?

              Dear Sir,

I mean no disrespect. Please accept my apology. It is my favourite verse from the Bible. I would only wish to reply to your request, if you please. I dearly love the Psalm in its entirety and would not wish to diminish it in any way. I would not know where the knife should cut and believe it is not my place to make smaller the Holy words. If I may ask, where would the cut be made?

I am not betrothed, Sir. I am alone in the UK at present. I am asylum seeker from Helmand.

              Respectfully,

              ~ Ishina

Dearest Pastor, peace be upon you,

I am 24 and was born Pushtun in my native land of Helmand, Afghanistan. I study English since I was very young but more recently so when I journeyed from home to my new home here in UK. Yes, American is best and sometimes different from English, though I do not know all the slang. I would wish to learn more perhaps while I am in this community, should I be made welcome.

I am not married, Pastor Ezekiel, Sir.

                    Hello Sir,

God will place me beside a man, if he pleases, and he shall be revealed to me in time. I am not sad to be alone, for I am not alone; With God, non of us are. God is most merciful, most wise, most generous, and I, just a stone in his sling, fallen far from home, do not question his ways. His wind has carried me this far and I am thankful. I am happy on the path of the Christ, peace be upon him, to God, and to Heaven.

Hail Pashtun. I have fought alongside your menfolk. They are good GOD fearing warriors. It's a shame more of you do not embrace CHRIST as readily and cast away your primitive worship of false prophets.
May the call of Jihad be forever outshined, outmatched, and outlasted by the The LORD's Crusade, to the end of eternity and the extinction of mortal flesh. Let those who march against it in His name be as giants - pure of heart, strong of body, honored, invulnerable. May those warriors be burning stars in the firmament of battle, angels of death on shining wings, bringing swift annihilation to the enemies of CHRIST. Amen.

                            Sir,

If I have offended you, I am regretful. I assure you I am healthy and my heart is open. I am willing to give myself to the right man. I have had offers, and I have sinned, but I would wish to be clean again in the blood of the Christ. It must be a man of God, respectful of God, for me to respect a man.

UK is not so much a place of God, and I, of foreign blood, and as submitter to God, am not so welcome as most. I am a stranger in a strange land. Yet, no matter how far we stray, God knows where to find us, for he can see the whole universe.

I was young when war came upon us, in Afghanistan. I have been a refugee for all my life. Until now, I have not settled. And still, I would wish to see more of the world. Water flows where it must until it finds a hollow. God has laid a path before me, and I follow it. Perhaps a suitable man will cross paths with me, if God wills it. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

                            Respectfully and sincerely, in God.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
