    Hello all!

    Hello! My name is Ruth.
I'm 22 years old. I live in a small town in Australia, and I'm so happy to find this forum. The only baptist church is a mockery, allowing just anyone in - darkies, cripples, the lot! So I'm glad I may share my faith with other like-minded people.

I hope we all become good friends, sharing Christ's love.

      Re: Hello all!

Welcome Ruth, how many sons have you produced for Jesus? I hope you do not eat that Vegimite stuff, I hear it is made from Satan's poo.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I read those prior to posting. But thank you. <3

And James; I have produced two children, both sons. I wish for more, but my husband is so often out of town on business, so it is difficult. And no, I don't eat vegemite. Horrid stuff!

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

He likes to be around for a bit while I'm pregnant, but he leaves for a few months after I've had a child. He then comes back for maybe a month and leaves again...we've been married two and a half years - I know, I started late!

Thank you for the welcome, sir.

                Hello Ruth Bell-Forsythe!

It is a pure delight to welcome you here.

I too left my so called baptist church here and came to Landover Baptist Church Forum to seek REAL enlightenment.

What is your favorite bible verse?

Which pie is your favorite to bake?

Do you have your husbands permission to be on here?

Well, you're not doing too bad. You're only six months behind. My wife and I are on a schedule - one son every twelve months. This allows her 3 months to "cool off." She's currently halfway through her cooling off period after our fifth son, and I tell you what... I'm about sick and tired of all this menstruation business again already. The last one didn't go so smoothly, and I'm considering going ahead and sowing my seed pronto just so we don't have to deal with any more hiccups like that for a while.

Plus, it looks like we're getting ready to move to Freehold in coming weeks, and I don't want her to start bleeding all over the van and spreading her uncleanliness on our way up.

So do you have any particular favorite verses of Scripture? What pies do you bake for your husband when he is home?
                  II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. 1 Kings 20:35-36

35And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
36Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.

                    I love the Lord's work. <3

My best pies are my cherry, blueberry, and mock-apple. The secret to the mock apple, is...that I use real apples! That makes it a mock mock-apple pie, huh? My husband likes that joke, he says my humour is that instance is wonderful. Most other times, though, I deserve a good smack to the mouth, which he so properly administers. He's such a good man.
Perhaps we could trade recipes, Wintersnow?

To Jedediah; Oh, you're very generous with your wife, giving her that cooling off period!
Also, congratulations for your upcoming move to Freehold!

My husband's favourite pie that I make would be either the peanut butter pie [which he insists I make for him, each time he calls to tell me he's coming home], or the blueberry. Of course, I'm never allowed to taste the peanut butter one, he cares so for my wellbeing and my figure. And only one thin slice of any other I make.

Hello Ruth, what a wonderful name.

I am new here too. Live in Australia also. I can't find any Godly church here either. You sound like a wonderful girl. Wish you were one of my Granddaughters. You sure seem to be in touch with Jesus.

We shall pray and apologise for our downfalls, yes? For the time being, I will lock myself and my children in the prayer closet. We do this for at least an hour a day, usually while I'm waiting for a pie to bake.

Thank you again, sir. Indeed I am in touch with my Lord, and I appreciate you saying so.

I have called my husband, after my children's and my vigil in the prayer closet. All we Australians, the pure white ones at least, are imports. His family is from Scotland, I believe. And from what my husband has told me, a distant relative of King James, himself! I do not question my husband's claims, as he is quite kingly in my household.

I am homeschooling my little tykes, but only in biblical verse for now. The eldest boy can already read certain verse all on his own, his father sure is pleased!
I will certainly go to the Ladies of Landover and ask for their assistance with the boys, as I'm sure they'll be able to help me with their educations as they grow.

Thank you ever so much for the welcome! GLORY indeed!

PS; the pie I was baking came out a treat!

I have to tell you I am a bit of a history nut, did your husband mention which prison ship his family came over on, what were their crimes etc.. After the Bible, learning about history is a great past time even if it is a distant second. Pie might be a 3rd.
