    Da ddiwrnod

Hello to all - this may well be an unwelcome introduction, giving my name, but I hope you won't flame me for it - though I have already received and infraction for correcting a forum members historical knowledge, being accused of starting a debate. I assure you that was not so - I really did just correct the members incorrect historical knowledge. The post is here, make your own judgments if you wish:

    http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?p=538235

Anyway, I admit to to being an Agnostic who was looking forward to talking (not flaming!) about our differing views of the world - and must also admit I did not read the rules stating this was not that kind of site. My apologies, I will simply browse the forum quietly. Peace be upon you all

    Re: Da ddiwrnod

I suppose that since you are in Wales, you pronounce your name with a hard "C" as in Kelts.

As opposed to the correct pronunciation as used by the beloved basketball team - the Boston Celtics - using the Godly American™ pronunciation as in the Boston Sellticks.

The other part of your name is, of course, offensive.

But don't consider this a flame. Just a simple statement of facts.

Who knows, perhaps we would have a use for you.

For example: when another Welcher shows up claiming to be from Wales and lists his home town as: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch, we can rely on you to translate it.

Not that this will endear you to us, but it certainly can't hurt. Unless you're just another British fag with bad dentistry. Then that could be a problem.

I don't think this has been added to the Rules just yet, but we would appreciate it if you wouldn't type your discussion titles in Pig Latin again. Makes it difficult for the rest of us to read.

You thought this was a hangout for Satanists like you? So you came on here and started persecuting innocent, unsuspecting Christians to get them to give up the truth and conform to your filthy atheism. Where do you get off?

Welcome Friend, tell me, when did you hear the calling and make Jesus Christ your personal savior?
What passage in the KJV brings a tear to your eye?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Welcome, hellbound sinner. I do indeed hope that you will spend some time absorbing our profound True Christian(tm) Knowledge. I suspect that it is the LORD's Plan that you come here, bear witness to our Christian Perfection, and turn your life around, accepting Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior.

He brought you here because He wants you to join us in Heaven. He died for your sins, you know. I think you owe it to Him.
              II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. I assure you, I wasn't here to promote atheism as I am not an atheist.

As 'Celt' is not actually a Celtic word (ironic I know) you can pronounce it how you like, but yes I tend to use a hard C.

                Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch translates as:

St Mary's Church in a hollow of white hazel near the swirling whirlpool of the church of St Tyslio with a red cave.

I am not a Satanist. I did not persecute, only corrected a forum members incorrect knowledge on purely historical (not scientific or religious) information.

It isn't even it's original place name.
Until the 19th Century it was just
Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll until some Cobbler came along and changed it!
What kind of place gets it's name from a Cobbler?

I'm sorry I'm not sure of your point here. Yes it was made as a sort of 19th century marketing gimmick but what difference does it make if a cobbler made it?

I have no attraction to Hell. Charles Darwin certainly has not inspired me to 'do' anything, he merely presented what I felt is a great explanation for how God makes the Universe run. And I don't know who Anton Lavey is sorry.
