The Romans never conquered the Celts as evidenced by the construction of Hadrian's Wall in AD 122.

Celtic culture is still very much alive today.

The English lands were finally unified in the 10th century in a reconquest completed by King Athelstan in AD 927.

From 711 Spain was ruled by the Moors whose where not completely removed until 1492.

I just want to say yeah sex before marriage is a sin but it can also effect your health. Before I was Saved I had lots of sex before marriage and I got the herpes. Herpes has no known cure and I still have it to this day. I was also a fornicating sinner and spread herpes across America when i was working at a traveling carnival. Most of the women had herpes to begin with so I dont feel so bad about that now but still I consider it a punishment from Jesus for living such a sick life. Sometimes i get so embarrassed when my sores outbreak around my mouth I'll just go out in public with my clown makeup on. I just tell people im coming from a party. I need my privacy.

The Celts have a very ancient history in Europe-- and not all of it in the British Isles. They predate the Romans and even the Romans' predecessors, the Etruscans. Rome didn't destroy the entire culture of the Celts, but they did transform it.

Putting aside these points, the OP is concerned about what to believe because of information provided through another thread. That thread deals with God's dispensation for young women who have been raped.

The answer, which the OP did not care for, was provided straight from the Book of Deuteronomy.

ANY answer provided in this forum will be drawn as straight as possible from Biblical text. As to what a person should or should not believe -- remember, we at LBC are NOT asking you to put your faith in us. We are asking you to put your faith up against the often harsh light of the Bible.

I was referring to being firm in my faith. I also happen to be firm in my grasp of ancient European history, but that is beside the point.

We are here to show the world that which it does not want to see: The Grown-Ups version of the Bible, and not just the pretty collection of stories shared in most Sunday Schools.

If you don't like it, I will not be in the least offended because I did not write it. But I am offended that you should find it amusing. Trust me-- the Bible ain't for yuks.
